NightreignNightreign Tier List for Playing a Pre-Made Party

While each individual Nightfarer has its strengths and weaknesses, some of them are likely to be stronger than others due to factors of RNG, difficulty, consistency, strengths of builds and more. This tier list covers the best Nightfarers for playing in a pre-made party.

Nightreign Tier List With Friends

There are a ton of different ways to play Elden Ring Nightreign, from playing with random strangers to playing completely solo.

In this Tier List for Pre-Made parties, we'll rank the Nightfarers based on their potential in the intended way to play, in a group of three coordinated friends.

As with any tier list, there will always be cases of different people making anything work. Ultimately, it's about what works for you and your playstyle!

The rankings below take into account factors like the upside you can get from coordinating the abilities of each Nightfarer that normally wouldn't be feasible with strangers who aren't on voice, as well as the benefits given by each Nightfarer to the squad rather than individual gains.

S-tier Explanations

Recluse

  • Due to her long list of Magic Cocktail spells, the Recluse is essentially the consensus choice as the Nightfarer with the highest skill cap and potential.
  • Her main weaknesses are being squishy and being inconsistent in getting the exact spells she wants when she needs them most.
  • In a pre-made environment, you can coordinate with your allies to have a variety of Lightning, Holy, Magic, and Fire damage sources.
    • This gives your team the ability to get the perfect spell for any situation, whether it's heals, buffs, or crowd control.
  • Since you get to choose your Nightfarers, you can also guarantee a frontline to protect the Recluse, making all conditions ideal for her to perform optimally.
  • Lastly, her ultimate, Soulblood Song, gets a ton of value if your allies are ready to get as many hits and spells in to proc its restoration effects.

Duchess

  • Similar to the Recluse, the Duchess is highly rewarded for playing in a coordinated environment.
  • First off, her Character Skill, Restage, can pull off ridiculous damage numbers when timed alongside timed bursts from your allies.
  • Second, her ult is pretty lackluster in solo and random team environments. Now, you can coordinate for optimal backstabs and other positionings.
  • Lastly, the Duchess scales in power as she finds status effect weapons. Being able to trade with your allies more consistently helps you scale faster in comparison to when you normally can't communicate.

Ironeye

  • In general, the Ironeye is great in basically any situation - with randoms, as solo, and in a pre-made team, every ability presents consistent value.
  • Within a team environment, your whole team benefits passively with noticeably improved drop chances from Eagle Eye.
  • His Character Skill, Marking, can get a lot more mileage with teammates who are ready to follow up to proc the increased damage.
  • In a situation where things get dire, your teammates can crawl to make an easy lineup for a double-resurrection ultimate.
    • In general, the Ironeye is the best at reviving downed teammates due to his mobility and long-range capabiliites.

A-tier Explanations

Guardian

  • The Guardian is the ultimate tank, but he offers very low damage potential. By having a pre-made comp, you can easily make up for this weakness.
  • He has the best resurrection ability in the game in terms of its reliability + being able to create an invulnerability field after the revival.
  • Once upgraded with the Remembrance reward, his Whirlwind can offer his team a lot of staggers.
  • We have him in A-tier instead of S-tier because his tanking ability really isn't needed if he's in a party with other tanky melees, but he's an ideal choice with the Recluse.

Revenant

  • The Revenant gets a big boost for being in a pre-made environment for several reasons.
  • First off, she can find Incantations (she has S Faith scaling) more easily due to her team being in sync for routing and opening the possibility for trades.
  • Second, her usual weakness of lacking FP regen can be mitigated by her team supplying Starlight Shards.
  • Lastly, she can get more procs of Necromancy off by her team funneling last-hits to her.

Raider

  • The Raider is another tanky front-line option that offers teamwide utility but skewed toward more offense than defense in comparison to the Guardian.
  • Out of all the classes, the Raider provides the most stagger, setting up easy hits for his team.
  • His ultimate is incredibly versatile in a team-wide environment, providing:
    • AoE damage buff
    • High ground for ranged teammates
    • Cover to hide behind
    • Revival opportunities
    • A big damage burst (pair with Restage!)

B-tier Explanations

Executor

  • A very self-sufficient Nightfarer who can carry his team, but doesn't really offer any teamwide utility.
  • He can tank like the Guardian using the Cursed Sword, his ult deals a lot of damage and stagger like the Raider, and he can apply a lot of status effects like the Duchess.
    • However, these are all situational and don't make a difference whether you're playing solo, with randoms, or in a pre-made team.

Wylder

  • The Wylder is certainly viable in any team comp, but is ranked here because his kit is designed to be pretty self-serving.
  • For example, his Passive lets him cheat death once, but provides no other team utility.
  • There is some usefulness in that the Wylder is adaptable to many weapon types, so he can help his more specialized allies get more fitting weapons.
