Vex
My Main girl Vex. Once a Siren main, always a Siren main.
My primary gun build for Vex. All in 1, can use any of the 3 action skills with some minor tweaks, best build for using a wide variety of guns. From Crow Sourced, to Vamoose, and everything in between. This build is easy to get going and very easy to play. Lacks the 1 shot potential of a Bloodshot bleed setup but isn't far off and excels in sustained DPS and versatility.
- High damage output.
- High sustain and survivability.
- Very high versatility.
Want an army of minions to do your bidding? Specters! Now upgraded with Heirloom, put a Crow Sourced in their hands and watch them melt bosses.
- Lower damage output.
- Very high sustain and survivability.
- Specter Aggro relief.
- Limited by Specter targetting AI.
- Lower weapon versatility.
If I want to play back and snipe enemies from the safety of distance, or one shot the biggest of the game's bosses. I play this. Armed with a Truck, or high powered Piktun, it can even boss with these snipers.
- Very high Bossing damage.
- Lower mobbing speed.
- Trouble Aggro relief.
- Lower weapon versatility.
- Bossing burst DPS is subject to RNG.
Not one of mine, no point in creating something that is already made and and optimised. So here's Ratore's very in depth and well written Bloodwire guide. It puts my write-ups to shame tbh.
- High Damage.
- Subject to AI targetting.
- Easy to put together.
- Not very interactive to play.
Rafa
A Generalist gun Rafa build for the 'use any gun' vibe so long as the gun itself is decent enough. This one has a couple of variants.
- Good Damage, better for mobbing
- High weapon versatility
- Limited bossing options
Similar to the above but uses ammo regeneration to maintain
Vitriol shots, and plays primarily with the
Truck or
Boomslang sniper rifle. This build has some of the fastest mobbing clear in the game, though has limited bossing options.
- Very fast mobbing potential
- Weapon specific build
- Limited bossing options
Optimised Arc Knives Rafa. Hack and slash your way through Kairos. Works post nerf.
- Highest Bossing damage potential in the game
- Easy to play
- Some bosses are out of reach
Harlowe
Infinite Crits, Infinite Ammo, Infinite Amp, Infinite Cooldown, Ricochets, Lifesteal, Bonus Elements, the all in one Harlowe who has everything.
- High Damage
- Very high weapon versatility
- Easy to play
- Infinite everything as said above
- No real downsides
Has all of the above but caters to Heavy Weapons like
Heimdahl,
Flak Cannon and
Draupner.
- Very High Damage
- Slower mobility
- Has all of the above
The classic
Neutron Capture Harlowe build. Fire off Chroma Accelerator, build up damage, then re-deliver it through your rifle. Credit to WRW for build and write up.
- High high damage
- Easy to build
- Can be clunky
- Limited Weapon Diversity
Zero Point (to play) build focused on the action skill itself doing the heavy lifting. High bossing damage, mobbing requires Groundbreaker slop to be smooth though.
- High Bossing Damage
- Janky Mobbing
- Zero Point targetting is very inconsistent
Amon
Amon's variant of the generalist 'use any gun' build. Uses Force of Nature detonations from the
Damned class mod for smooth but satisfying gameplay.
- Highest burst damage in the game
- High weapon versatility
- Very Tanky, 100% immortal when played right.
Everyone knows HOrdnance Amon, a staple of the game and shows no signs of slowing down. It completely owns the Takedown. Credit to Ancient Rune for the build and Write-up
- Very high Damage output
- Easy to play
- Poor mobility
- Low FFYL damage
Throw hammers with nigh zero limitation as Forgedrones provide both Forgeskill and Action skill returns. Some of the most fun I have playing Amon. Credit to Ancient Rune for the initial build and Write-ups.
- Ok Damage
- Very fun and satisfying
- Lower damage vs Armour Bosses
- Struggles vs crystal based enemies
Slam giant hammer off of animation for giant mobbing damage and radius. Fire Damage limited vastly restricts bossing potential. Great for mobbing and Bloomreaper
- Incredibly Satisfying to play
- Only good vs Flesh Bosses
- Falls apart vs flying bosses
C4SH
One of the strongest action skills in the game, no guns required, melts bosses like butter at 1000s of rounds per minute. While the purple Pistoleer class mod isn't mandatory, it makes a crazy difference.
- Very high Damage
- Auto aims
- High self damage risk
- Clunky mobbing
Build centred around manually spamming card throws. Fastest Possible Subjugator Raid boss kill, very high APM, fun gameplay. This build can also be pivoted into the gun build below very easily, all with the same gear and minor (optional) skill swaps.
- Fastest possible Subjugator kills
- Mediocre Damage Peaks otherwise
- Great Mobbing with
Firewerks - Easy to build
Easily pivoted into from the build above. A standard Gun build that loves to use the
Hot Slugger. Great for the takedown, very easy to put together. Offers some extra versatility with some changes towards green tree. Full Credits to Ratore for the build and Write-up.
- Good Damage
- Easy to build
- Limited weapon versatility
As of writing THE strongest build in the game (franchise?) to date. Insta kills *everything* and is also capable of sustaining the damage. There isn't anything that can tank this build for a second, and it can keep shooting as long as it needs. Full map coverage auto-targetting. And Billions of DPS. Can be a little clunky to get working but once you get it going it never stops. Credit to Ancient Rune for the build and Write up.
- Unparalleled DPS
- Surprisingly easy to build
- Easy to play
- Somewhat limited weapon versatility
LOVELESS
Currently without access it's hard to put proper builds together. So here's just my build templates I'll be going for first.
