Build Overview

This build is about spamming Crucible and your Forgeskill as much as possible for amazing melee damage. This is all built around maximizing your damage of Raging Inferno.

There will be a mix of Hour of the Hammer and Blade Tempest

This is the successor to my Wonderlands Stormbringer Build


Now including Ordonite/Vile alt spec!

Action Skill:

Crucible - melee action skill that can deal great damage, spammable, and tons of fun. Not the strongest thing in the world but it is viable

Hour of the Hammer - star of the show for mobbing. The AOE effect lets you hit multiple enemies and less likely to miss your target. This is also amazing for bossing in UVH6 to melt enemies.

Blade Tempest - works well in bossing but mainly used for Bloomreaper

Double Edge Forgeskill - this base forge skill is still different enough from Storm Surge to warrant using. This is amazing for hitting multiple enemies

Storm Surge - works really well for bossing. Build up 10 prime stacks and then place on a boss. Then keep using your action skill. When Detonations are applied it will auto detonate since the status damage from this forge skill counts as forge skill damage

DETONATIONS INFO - Detonations elements matches the forge skill that applies them. Throwing a cryo axe applies a cryo prime stack. Throwing a fire sword applies a fire prime stack. If you apply 3 cryo prime stacks and 7 shock prime stacks it will account for the element matching and boosts. The last 10 prime stacks applied from your forge weapon are what will be used. Green Tree:

Executioner - crit damage that will double dip into Raging Inferno if the DoT also crits. Better than Gathering Storm since this skill will be easily active during bossing.

Destruction Engine - mainly for detonation damage

Herald's Call - for boosting Electrical Fire shock DoT to help w/ shielded bosses.

Tempered Pyre, Twin Tempers, Tempered Lightning, and Tempered Ice for proccing Fists of Stone and Honed Point. These are key skills

Raging Inferno - double dipping status effect that will be our single target damage (BUG: does not benefit from skill damage) This is a key skill

Reactive Armor - Used to keep up Protean Cell in longer boss fights This is a key skill

Blast Furnace - this damage bonus will double dip

Escalation - more hits and easier to hit enemies

Honed Point - this is going to allow us to have infinite charges. In mobbing this is a little less effective but you will notice it start working from time to time. But for bossing this solves the problem of not having enough charges to handle armor bars in bossing. This also means we can push True UVH6 at lot easier. It could still take a minute to get some kills BUT it's not you just sitting around doing nothing. Drones get melee & skill crit chance which we already get for Crucible so it's very easy to crit. When we use Watts 4 Dinner or Protean Cell bonus element that gives another chance for drones to crit and proc this skill. This is a key skill

Red Tree:

Discombobulate - increased crit chance for Raging Inferno

Gut Punch - damage boost that double dips

Tritanium Knuckles - both bonuses benefit Crucible

Wield the Storm - increased status damage. The duration does not affect Raging Inferno

The Best Defense - simple overshield

Forged In Steel - insanely helpful for when you use Protean Cell

Catastrophe - increased crit chance for Raging Inferno

Fists of Stone - allows us to spam our Forgeskill a crazy amount. This is a key skill

Utilities

Guns:

Maliwan Shotgun Stellium - get in fire with as much status damage as possible. When paired with Transfuser enhancement you can spread dots for better mobbing. This gun has the highest card DoT in the game. This gun is also splash which means you benefit from Gun Splash Damage passive on enhancements for more damage on everything. You can also pair this gun with Primed Potency enhancement for good damage in FFYL

Ripper Sniper - for Target Marker underbarrel. Damage boost will double dip. Get with Torgue (Impact Mag) to benefit from Gun Splash Damage

Mantra - deals melee damage. not terrible but not the best. Get w/ Ripper and Jakobs part.

Ordnance:

Slippy - deals good damage and procs Fists of Stone more often

Jakobs Grenade Crit Knife - go to for bossing for applying crit chance to Raging Inferno. Should only need 2 or 3 stacks at max.

Shield:

Protean Cell - Go to for bossing. The shock bonus element applies to status effects where most bonus elements do not do this. So you will get 40% shock damage based on your Raging InfernoDoTs. It is VERY NOTICEABLE. Some weaker bosses might not need this. You also become a lot less tanky since damage goes directly to your health unless you have overshield. The bonus element can also proc it's own Raging Inferno DoT at 40% power (because bonus element is 40%) and then apply its bonus element to that DoT. Since we do not use Electrical Fire this is A LOT more important than before.

Watts 4 Dinner - go to for mobbing. The bonus element has it's own chance to proc Raging Inferno but only at 25% power. Still sometimes enough to get the kill on enemies. Or just have 2 RI dots at once. Get w/ siphon for better survivability. This bonus element does not apply to dots like the Protean Cell does.

Class Mod:

Skill Crit Chance is VERY noticeable and helpful as a passive. Gives consistency for DoTs which I prefer over basic soup damage boosts. I would not use melee crit chance and only Skill crit chance as it will then apply to Detonations as well which is the go to for bossing

Furnace - +5 into Raging Inferno and ideal passive is all you need for this. Go to for mobbing and bossing as long as you follow the right gear.

Viking unfortunately is just not worth it as the loss of crit chance and weaker Raging Inferno is very noticeable.

Repkit:

Triple Bypass - able to activate Crucible more often w/ Now With Caffeine

    • get with as low cooldown as possible for the natural regen of repkit charges
    • Ideal mobbing passive - Accelarator (Adrenalized)
    • Ideal bossing passives - Enrage (Experimental) or Elemental Affinity (Reactive)

Enhancement:

Ideal passive: Gun Splash Damage (applies to everything when holding a splash gun), Gun Status Damage (applies to Raging Inferno)

Maliwan Enhancement Transfuser - When holding a maliwan shotgun it will spread the DoT of the gun held with ANY kill. Use this with a Stellium with as high dot damage as possible in Fire and possibly Shock.

Maliwan Enhancement Primed Potency - use this to get damage out of the stellium as well.

Maliwan Enhancement Synthesizer - the status chance applies to Raging Inferno

3/3 Skillcraft - get more skill damage which applies to Action Skill and Detonations (but not Raging Inferno) as well as Skill crit chance for more crit consistency without worrying about crit knife. Easy to keep up stacks because of Forge Drones being skill damage

2/3 Action Fist - Melee damage and Action Skill damage boosts Hammers. AS damage boosts Detonations for bossing.

1/3 God Killer - lower bonus than other melee & AS firmware but will double dip which makes it a better choice.

Reel Big Fist - melee damage applies to base damage of Crucible but not Detonations

Gameplay

Mobbing

Spam Crucible. Use whatever element is best

Active your Forgeskill

Throw Slippy for Fists of Stone to activate Forgeskill more often

Use your Repkit to get back charges and repeat.

Bossing

When using Blade Tempest

Slam for Protean Cell

Throw Crit Knife at boss to stack crit chance (at least once)

Activate Blade Tempest for Raging Inferno DoTs. Use whatever element is best

Activate Forgeskill for huge Detonation Damage.

Throw Crit Knife for crit chance w/ Raging Inferno

Use Repkit for more charges and repeat if not dead


When using Hour of the Hammer

Slam for Protean Cell

Throw Crit Knife at boss to stack crit chance (at least once)

Throw all charges of Hour of the Hammer for Raging Inferno DoTs. Use whatever element is best

Use Repkit once or twice for 1 or 2 more charges (leads to 8 or 10 prime stacks) and throw more hammers.

Activate Forgeskill for huge Detonation Damage.

Throw Crit Knife for crit chance w/ Raging Inferno

Use Repkit for more charges and repeat if not dead


IF USING Storm Surge - Build up 10 prime stacks and then place on a boss. Then keep using your action skill. When Detonations are applied it will auto detonate since the status damage from this forge skill counts as forge skill damage

Bloomreaper

Gear used: Blade Tempest, At least 2 Torgue AR Airstrike Underbarrels, Torgue Enhancement Head Ringer w/ AR splash radius & Gun/AR Damage, Crit Knife, Watts 4 Dinner w/ AMP Synergized, Order Repkit w/ Amp (Amplified), base Forgeskill

When crystals spawn. Use your Forgeskill on 3 crystals. You can line up to hit all 3 at once. Raging Inferno will force status effects. Then go to the other 3 and use Blade Tempest.

Then use Amp Repkit and shoot Airstrike Underbarrel to finish off the crystals and break them all. Use somewhat in the middle but not right in the middle. The projectile can just not hit the ground because of bloomreaper's hitboxes. With practice you will get it down. Then repeat this to break the Vile Orbs.

Once Bloom can be damaged you can throw crit knife and then use Blade Tempest on it. Then throw another crit knife and use Forgeskill to detonate. Then use repkit to get back at least 1 charge of Blade Tempest and use again. This should usually get Bloomreaper to the next phase

On the final phase throw a crit knife again and use Blade Tempest. Use Forgeskill to detonate and that should usually finish the kill. Throw some crit knives detonation if you need to for some extra damage

Ordonite Processor

This is using the Ordonite/VIle Crystal alt spec

Activate Forgeskill to activate Berserk

Throw Slippy to stack There Is Only Red

Throw Crucible and Slippy for killing enemies

Only use Forgeskill when Berserk is about to expire. Usually when between rounds
