WEAPONS
The Reloaders
This build wants access to a frequent, one-shot reload weapon due to
Windfall access utility and
Ante Up, the latter of which provides MASSIVE Gun and Skill damage boosts based on how small your magazine is.
Hot Slugger is a favorite, and a main weapon. It has the perfect 1-mag and feels very nice with the gameplay loop, being capable of mobbing and even bossing to an extent.- Dullahan
Jakobs Shotgun is 1-mag. Can roll Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) Sniper Mode.
T.K's Wave,
Hellwalker and Balor
Jakobs Shotgun are 2-mags but one-shot reload. They work, but will not get full benefit from
Ante Up.
Noisy Cricket is pretty funny, even if not the best thing ever. Get a Tediore (Shooting Thrown Gun) roll for more silly.
COV Weapons
COV-licensed weapons count as '0 Current Ammo' and '1 Mag Size' for
Ante Up, making for great synergy.
Here are some great weapons to look for with COV (Unlimited Mag):
Lockjaw is an absolute monster at high density mobbing scenarios.
Kickballer can be genuinely great at clearing rooms and even respectable for bossing.
Mantra is very nice due to getting even further soup through
Bear Arms.
Flash Cyclone and
Darkbeast are both great weapons in general.
Swan Song has excellent card stats and performs greatly.
Convergence and
Complex Root are also pretty good choices.
Raiden is part-locked to COV and has a very strong special effect.- Other options include
Shoals,
Shalashaska,
Seventh Sense,
Scoot'n'Shoot,
Handcannon,
Mercurious,
Brickhouse,
Falke,
Broken Wings,
Cormano,
Eigenburst,
Wombo Combo,
Stray,
Katagawa's Revenge,
Ishmael,
Borstel Ballista...
Any other of your favorite weapons but rolled with COV (Unlimited Mag) license can also be used to great effect due to COV being considered '0 Current Ammo' and '1 Mag Size' for .
Underbarrels
Bossing burst kings which also stack a ton
Groundbreaker, that you can then deliver through any of
Wretched Shadows,
The Cooler,
Mighty Nine (depending on build), a Melee Attack or a Slam.
- Spread Launcher
Jakobs Shotgun - The classic Spread Launcher can demolish bosses with ease.
- Beam Tosser
Maliwan Shotgun - Perfect for bosses with decently large hitboxes and high HP values, like Thol, Watchgrath and Child of Terra. Under its ideal scenarios, it can outdamage the Spread Launcher.
- Space Laser
Oscar Mike - Airstrike
Fleabag
Potato Thrower IV
Torgue AR - Great for Bloomreaper crystals or damaging a large area.
Other fun options include:
Rooker and Kill Drones
Order AR, which you can shoot out then swap back to your main weapon and they will benefit from
Ante Up. The
Sunspot with Energy Burst is also a great option for damage.
Utility Weapons
These are not obligatory to use, being merely some strategies and options that you may find good use cases for.
Weapons with high hit rate and/or high Status application rate can be used for:
- Setting up effects like
Prestidigitator - Pre-stack the Class Mod's effect and then swap back to
Hot Slugger/weapon of choice and proceed to enter
Windfall as usual, which will let you make use ofthe special effect.
- Triggering Statuses for
Alchemy - Some weapons will apply a ton of Status Effects very quickly, triggering
Alchemy many times. You don't usually need to overly rely on a strict weapon just for this though.
Some example weapons for this are:
Complex Root- Hits large targets many times due to its special effect
Katagawa's Revenge- Shock mode is great at getting a lot of hits on just about anything
-
Convergence - Simply high hit rate due to its special effect and fire rate.
Broken Wings- Jakobs (Ricochet Accessory) + Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) Shotgun Mode.
- If Cryo Element, this can even be used to stack
Prestidigitator on yourself or trigger
Windfall if you have
Can't Stop Winning. You can also go for a lower level version.
Acey May- Elemental + Jakobs (Ricochet Accessory) + optionally COV (Unlimited Mag). Many hits makes for a lot of
Alchemy and
Prestidigitator.
Tediore Weapons
Tediores can actually work very well with
C4SH. I recommend checking Shank's Yeet Bot Build if you want to incorporate elements or fully transition to Tediore.
REPKIT
Kill Spring,
War Paint,
Order Repkit and
Triple Bypass are all good choices of Repkit with their own relative strengths.
Look for these effects, or combinations of them if applicable:
- Amp (Amplified)
- Enrage (Experimental)
- Reload Speed (Dextrous)
- Fire Rate (Spasmodic)
ORDNANCE
Waterfall,
Countermeasure or any Epic Grenade
- Non-Cryo Lingering + Alchemic + Overflow/Exacting
- Great roll combination for the purpose of triggering
Alchemy. - Exacting is nice if yo uever use
Prestidigitator.
- Non-Cryo Ricochet + Artillery + Overflow/Exacting
- Decent roll combination for the purpose of triggering
Alchemy, and the Ricochet can also stack gun skills like
Riddle You This. - Exacting is nice if you ever use
Prestidigitator. This roll combination is particularly great for it on dense mobbing.
Countermeasure and
Firepot
Both of these benefit from the massive Gun Damage boosts of
Ante Up and are valid damage-oriented options. They are also capable of stacking gun skills like
Riddle You This.
Crit Knife
Jakobs Grenade
- Always a valid option. We have
Hot Streak, but it's consumed fast due to the amount of damage instances we put out. - The Crit Knife comes in hand both as a fallback and as a powerhouse, because it grants a ton of Crit Chance to Bleed and
Groundbreaker, which we otherwise don't have much of.
HEAVY ORDNANCE
Heimdahl
- You can't sustain
Heimdahl indefinitely on this build, but it's not a bad idea to include it in your gameplay loop, and is nice for some mobbing assistance.
SHIELD
Watts 4 Dinner
- 150% Amp, or Amp + Siphon or just Siphon.
- The Bonus Shock Damage is another source of
Alchemy, and also applies itself to
Groundbreaker.
Take the Pot can help you sustain overshields and the shield itself, making 150% Amp not impossible to use, especially on the
Cleromancy setups.
Kill Spring can also help a bit in that regard if you like it.
Guardian Angel
- 150% Amp.
- Overall great pick for any activity due to the fast recharge.
Super Soldier
- Siphon, or your preferred choice of Augment.
- Great to use with weapons that can't really get consistent Amped shots.
Firewerks
- Excellent option for mobbing.
Hopscotch and
Little Sister
- With x2 Turtle, these are excellent defensive options.
- Feel free to try Boxer Jabbing + Positive Reinforcement Enouraging on the
Little Sister for a more offensive approach.
Cindershelly and
Pandoran Momento
- Both of these have nice defensive effects, while still being able to roll offensive augments like Amp.
CLASS MODS
Stat rolls to look for on any Class Mod:
- Skill Crit Chance
- Gun Crit Chance
- Damage Dealt
- Skill Damage
- Gun Damage
- Fire Rate
- Reload Speed
Main Class Mods
- +3 or +2
Trick Shot; +4 or +5
Tender Hearts
Works for either mobbing or bossing, and is the main choice for boss bursting. Bleed is a great funnel to direct our excess of Skill Damage towards. Great damage boosts, excellent for mobbing and bossing.
Gambler Class Mod
- At least +1
Can't Stop Winning. For the remaining points, look for any of: - +5
Red Moon Rising for extra damage. - +5
Riding High for some very nice
Windfall duration (not every build might want this). - +5
O Fortuna for even easier
Windfall triggers. - Further points in
Can't Stop Winning.
- This class mod doesn't really have any bad skills, so any combination you get of them while having at least +1
Can't Stop Winning is pretty good.
Main Class Mod choice for comfortable mobbing, since it makes entering
Windfall management much easier due to
Can't Stop Winning, while still retaining all the great boosts from blue tree.
It can also be fine for bossing, but keep in mind you might feel the damage loss compared to the other choices depending on what you're up against.
- +5
Ante Up; + Any
Absurdly massive soup that can be fed even further into
I Am A Gun,
Bear Arms and
Groundbreaker. A perfect choice for burst damage and one-shots.
- Triggerbot with +5
Vigorish is a nice Epic alternative with access to 3 stat rolls. It won't outdo +5
Ante Up, but is still nice.
Secondary Class Mods
Trainer
- +5
The Wilds; +2
Dealer's Bluff - If your
Trainer has points in
Dealer's Bluff, you can skip investing the 1/3
Dealer's Bluff in the skill tree and instead use that point elsewhere.
Why would I use
Trainer on
Sleight of Hand?
The Wilds is a very powerful
Windfall skill. It's a Global Bonus Element which will apply to all of your damage, including
Groundbreaker. It also gets doubled by
The Cooler being equipped.
Prestidigitator
- +1
Bloodstained Moon; +5
Tender Hearts; +1 Any
Has a more involved gameplay loop which means working around and setting up its special effect. The rewards are essentially automatic triggers of your Augments and
Vigorish, alongside the usage of
The Cooler for
Groundbreaker delivery.
ENHANCEMENT
Stat rolls to look for on any Enhancement:
- Gun Damage
- Gun Type Damage
- Gun Equip Speed
- Gun Splash Radius
- Gun Type Splash Radius
- Gun Crit Damage
- Gun Type Crit Damage
NOTE: When not having a 1-shot reload Weapon or an Underbarrel in mind, the below enhancements are all under the assumption you will have a COV (Unlimited Mag) licensed part. Remember that COV is a Magazine Licensed Part, so it cannot roll alongside Torgue or Ripper unless the gun's manufacturer is respectively one of those.
Quintain |
Blind Box | Bounce Pass | Piercer
Jakobs Enhancement
- Great choices due to Spread Launcher,
Hot Slugger and any Jakobs-licensed weaponry.
Pumper |
Studfinder | Head Ringer
Torgue Enhancement
- Great for Torgue guns/licensed underbarrels.
- The Air Burst effect is extremely powerful for mobbing and against Vile/Ordonite enemies. Don't sleep on it.
Glacier | Cold Open | Ventilator COV Enhancement
- Decent choices for any COV-licensed weapons that won't benefit more from other choices.
Disruptor |
Binger | High Roller
Ripper Enhancement
- Good options for Ripper weapons.
Combo |
Nexus |
Junction
Atlas Enhancement
- These can be nice for bossing with Atlas-licensed guns.
Hephaestian |
Gatherer |
Scion | Bullet Fabricator
Daedalus Enhancement
- Good options for Daedalus and Daedalus-licensed weaponry.
