Build Overview

POST GLOAM NERF VIABLE

Thank you to Ratore, wrw713, GIRTHQUAKE, Madeleine and the rest of the Soup Kitchen Discord for all the help in figuring out Gloam pre and post nerf.

This build is focused all around the insanity which is From Gloam Till Glow to deal TONS of damage to melt bosses while never reloading via War Wagon

With From Gloam Till Glow now consuming overshield we use Turn of Fate with it's overshield steal to basically ignore this change and deal just as much damage

We also can now use Groundbreaker which will give a faster boss kill but in no way reliant on it.

Using guns like Stray and Convergence you can apply that damage VERY QUICKLY

Strengths And Weaknesses

  • Insanely fast mobbing
  • VERY FAST BOSSING
  • So good you can use lvl 1 gear and get the same results
  • No longer destroys game performance
  • meta mobbing is braindead stray spam which takes no effort

Action Skill:

Cleromancy - allows for easy Can't Stop Winning

Because of the changes to Gloam now getting gun damage we do not go augments unless needed as we want to get Angry Totem as much as possible which means we do not ever get any Devil's Tines but that does not mean you cannot do so

Dirty Dozen - this is a must have during the Bloomreaper fight. Since you cannot apply status effects to vile crystals you need to be able to have some fortune stacks through this for a chance to proc Windfall and From Gloam Till Glow

You DO NOT want Mighty Nine as the melee bonus element procs Groundbreaker which means you cannot build it up for big hits.

Red Tree:

Unleashed - more fire rate = more gloam procs per second

Your Huckleberry - crit damage double dips into Groundbreaker. Can also swap with A Blur of Fingers and Brass

Stand and Bleed - crit chance good for Can't Stop Winning but also for Jakobs parted guns

Hot Hand - used to have a bonus element on guns that has a chance to apply dots via Alchemy if not using a grenade to do so

Unshaken - damage boost that applies to everything

From Gloam Till Glow - (see Build Overview for full info) gets the element of the damage source. This is what brings the build together. This is a key skill

Dusty Trail - allows for easy procs of From Gloam Till Glow. You can move this point into Fortune's Favor if you get this from Windrider This is a key skill

Lawless - will boost the non ele gloam from Nothing Beats Lead

Truck Full of Nitro - allows for more procs of War Wagon

Pale Rider - allows for more procs of War Wagon

War Wagon - allows you to never reload which means more procs of From Gloam Till Glow which leads to more DPS. This is taking ammo from reserves so it IS NOT INFINITE AMMO This is a key skill

Nothing Beats Lead - adds 1 proc of From Gloam Till Glow per pellet. Takes a portion of your gun and creates a separate instance. For example. You would deal 9% kinetic damage and 91% elemental damage. This part isn't relevant to Gloam but it's how the skill works This is a key skill

Green Tree:

Charm Bracelet - boosts Groundbreaker

O Fortuna - higher windfall chance

Bonemeal Ticket - healing for Totems to last longer

Luckless - little bit of damage and survivability

Can't Stop Winning - for proccing Windfall consistently since we don't reload. This is a key skill

Turn of Fate - grants overshield lifesteal to get max overshield capacity as fast as possible This is a key skill

Fortune's Favor - both damage bonuses help the build

Blue Tree:

Alchemy - allows for east Fortune stacking (even while in Windfall) This is a key skill

Guns:

Convergence - go to for bossing.

    • Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) SMG - for the highest DPS and A LOT of ammo.
    • Jakobs (Ricochet Accessory) - ricochets reproc it's effect

Stray - go to for mobbing because of it's homing effect

    • Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) SMG - for the extra ammo reserves and more fire rate
    • Jakobs (Ricochet Accessory) - allows for more enemies to be hit by bullets for Gloam procs

Wombo Combo - Gloam gets the 8x damage mult from the rocket

    • Ripper (Charge Mag) - gives more mag size which pairs well with Bullets to Spare

Broken Wings - the high amount of pellets makes for crazy hits

    • Torgue (Impact Mag) - when paired w 3/3 High Caliber it allows for hitting enemies twice to double gloam procs
    • Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) Shotgun - more pellets but more ammo consumption and less reserves. more so good for bossing

Vladof SMG Boory - w/ the high fire rate underbarrel you get A LOT of hits

    • Ripper (Charge Mag) - can be used for more fire rate from Short Circuit

Katagawa's Revenge - allows for a lot of hits when in shock mode

    • Jakobs (Ricochet Accessory) - ricochets make more projectiles

Acey May - high projectiles for lots of From Gloam Till Glow hits

    • Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) SMG - allows for higher fire rate for more hits
    • Jakobs (Ricochet Accessory) - ricochets means more hits

Can use any other guns with high fire rate and pellets. Make sure your guns are ELEMENTAL so that you benefit from Nothing Beats Lead

Ordnance:

Waterfall or Lingering Grenade - using Lingering part w/ Alchemic augment for proccing Alchemy. Ideally shock but any element works

Jakobs Grenade Crit Knife - since From Gloam Till Glow can now crit this helps a lot and helps with making Groundbreaker crit

Slippy - can proc CQC

Repkit:

Use Fire Rate (Spasmodic) ideally but the legendary effect is more important.

War Paint - highest dps.

Kill Spring - easy healing in mobbing

Triple Bypass - allows for healing from repkit itself or keeping passives up

Class Mod:

Windrider - used for the points but overshield portion is great for Gloam uptime

    • Ideal roll is +5 From Gloam Till Glow +1 Dealer's Bluff +1 Dusty Trail

Shield:

Hopscotch w/ Double Turtle - used to get as much shield capacity as possible so that our health bar is not reached as easily. Once your health bar hits damage your overshield steal is lost from Turn of Fate which means From Gloam Till Glow stops working.

While Collector has a larger shield capacity, it being an energy shield makes it harder to recharge than an armor shield like Hopscotch

We do not need a siphon shield because of Turn of Fate and not consistent enough for From Gloam Till Glow on its own

Enhancement:

Ripper Enhancement Short Circuit - allows for the highest fire rate. Any gun that has ripper part benefits from this but is not needed

Quintain - my go to. Crit chance for ricochet procs and Bounce Pass for more ricochets. Ricochet hits will proc From Gloam Till Glow

3/3 Deadeye - applies to From Gloam Till Glow

3/3 Bullets to Spare - allows for more fire rate. Makes it worth having mag size rolls which also means less chance of reloading guns if you have bad luck w/ War Wagon. Really only used with Wombo Combo because of it's high mag size

Other options:

2/3 Reel Big Fist - melee damage boosts Groundbreaker

1/3 High Caliber - projectile speed for faster hits to enemies

2/3 Daed-dy O - more mag size for Bullets to Spare

1/3 Bullets to Spare - if not using 3/3 getting just the fire rate can help

Groundbreaker - From Gloam Till Glow now builds this which means you get a HUGE double dip which can save a few seconds on bossing

Bullet Train - for the sprinting while shooting and bit of gun damage

Riddle You This - for the gun damage that is easily stacked

The Best Defense - double dips into Groundbreaker

In The Zone - both bonuses apply to From Gloam Till Glow

Contamination - more status chance to proc Alchemy

I Am A Gun - applies to Groundbreaker

Tripwire - spam Cleromancy a lot thanks to Dealer's Bluff from class mod


Gameplay

Throw Waterfall for Alchemy procs

Use Cleromancy as much as possible

Use War Paint for more fire rate

Make sure Windfall is active

Shoot Gun and Win

Slide for Dusty Trail to proc From Gloam Till Glow when needed.

Windfall will consume stacks but if it is active when gloam ends then you can't lose stacks for a while
