How to team fight as Viego?

Viego is a skirmish heavy champion who loves to team fight. Unlike many bruisers, however, he doesn’t want to go face-first into the action. Instead, he wants to “delay” team fights and take them slowly. Making use of his Passive (and his Q Passive) is crucial for not only dealing more damage but also allowing him to dodge skill shots and incoming damage. Try your hardest to deal as much damage as possible to whoever you can. Playing around your abilities and the enemies abilities are key to dishing out damage and winning the fight. Lastly, look to prioritize changing forms to champions who have a lot of items or who are ahead. But, be prepared to change forms and peel for your team.

Consuming a champion will give you a champions Passive, items and abilities (apart from their Ultimate). You will become untargetable/invulnerable when you steal the soul of an enemy champion. This can allow you to escape incoming damaging and dodge skill shots and tower shots. You will steal a champion’s abilities and items but you do not steal their actives. You cannot use your W to dash over walls. But you can use your Ultimate to escape sticky situations. On your way to the jungle from the base, go near the walls and use your E. It has no cost but can allow you to get back into the action more quickly. Your E will be back up before you get to your first camp. While super situational. try to steal the soul of a carry in team fights rather than someone with lots of utility like a Janna or Lulu. You will not get a lot of damage if you switch to them at the start of the fight.
