Keeping up with daily and weekly activities in Aion 2 helps you earn upgrade materials, maintain your Kina income and collect rewards before their limits refresh.
Your main priorities are completing Duty quests, using available dungeon entries, keeping Odyle Energy below its cap and checking weekly quests, shops and crafts. Scheduled activities such as field bosses and Abyss Corridors give you additional rewards to work into that routine.
This checklist explains what to check each day, what to finish before the weekly reset and which rewards to prioritize for your character.
If you are still learning the core systems, our Aion 2 beginner guide covers useful early priorities.
Start each session by checking your available quests, dungeon entries, reward keys and energy.
These activities do not all use the same reset system. Some resources accumulate up to a cap, while others have weekly allowances. Use the counters and reset timers in each menu to decide what needs your attention first.
Claim Attendance and Event Rewards
Claim your attendance rewards and check any active event menus before starting your other activities.
Pay attention to whether rewards are character-bound or shared. If an event currency is bound to the character that claims it, collect it on your main when that character needs the rewards most.
Halloween event note: Claim the event rewards on the character you want to progress. Blue Candy rewards include Odyle Energy, while the other colored rewards provide additional supplies. Check the event’s exchange options and expiry dates before spending its currency.
Choose Useful Duty Quest Rewards
Open Journal > Duty and review the available daily quests.
Look for rewards that support your current progression, particularly:
Nightmare Dungeon tickets.
Ascension Trial tickets.
Shugo Festival reward keys.
Crystals needed for Genus Insight.
Choose rewards according to what your character needs. Extra dungeon tickets are especially useful when their rewards help you complete an upgrade.
Be careful with repeated refreshes. Rerolling the available quests can become expensive, so compare the refresh cost with the value of the reward you are trying to find.
Use Your Nightmare Entries
Nightmare provides two tickets each day, making it an important source of regular progression rewards.
Aim for the highest difficulty you can complete reliably. Higher clears provide more coins, which you can spend on useful materials such as Stigma Shards and Daevanion Crystals.
Check the shop alongside your remaining entries. Knowing which upgrade you are saving for makes it easier to decide where to spend your coins.
Take Part in Shugo Festival
Shugo Festival activities open every hour. Choose a game you enjoy and can perform well in, then work it into your other daily activities.
Your placement affects how many reward selections you receive. Better results give you more opportunities to claim rewards, but you still need available reward keys.
Check your key count regularly so you can use them before reaching the storage cap. Review the reward pool too, particularly when choosing how to spend limited keys.
Our Shugo Festival guide explains the activities, reward selections and Festival Shop.
Complete Dimensional Invasion
Dimensional Invasion provides one reward key each day and offers another opportunity to collect progression rewards.
Check your available keys and the activity’s entry conditions, then fit a run around your other tasks. Its rewards complement those from Shugo Festival, giving you another source of useful items and currency.
Keep an eye on the displayed key limit so additional daily keys do not go to waste.
Spend Odyle Energy on Expeditions
Odyle Energy regenerates over time, so avoid leaving it at its cap. Once it is full, you stop benefiting from further regeneration until you spend some.
The energy cap is 560 without membership and 840 with membership.
Use your energy on Expedition rewards that suit your progression. Conquest is particularly useful for Kina, while higher difficulties can offer better rewards when your character can clear them consistently.
Hard-mode Krao Cave and Draupnir are options to consider once you meet their requirements. Compare the available equipment, materials and Kina with the time and effort needed for a reliable clear.
If your membership allows you to claim rewards twice from one run, remember that this also spends additional energy. It saves you another clear, but the second claim is not free.
Check Conquest and Transcendence Reward Reductions
Conquest and Transcendence have separate weekly Kina reward-adjustment counters.
The full-reward brackets covered here extend through:
Conquest: 83 clears.
Transcendence: 55 clears.
Passing these thresholds reduces the Kina earned from further runs. These are reward-reduction thresholds, rather than a simple statement that you cannot enter again.
Check the Cumulative Play Reward Adjustment information before planning a long farming session. Entry allowances, reward availability and Odyle Energy are separate things to track.
If your main goal is Kina, consider your current reward bracket before spending additional resources on repeated runs.
Claim Daeva Pass and Season Mission Rewards
Your other activities also contribute to Daeva Pass and season missions.
Check both menus regularly to claim completed rewards and identify objectives that overlap with what you already plan to do. This helps you earn extra rewards without creating a completely separate list of tasks.
Review the associated shops as well. Outfit purchases can contribute to your Closet collection and related title progress, including Empty Closet. Compare those collection goals with any immediate upgrades you still need.
Weekly Checklist
Weekly activities are easier to manage when you spread them across several sessions.
Check your remaining entries, quest allowances and purchase limits early in the week, then leave time to finish anything important before the reset.
Complete Ascension Trials
Ascension Trials provide several useful progression rewards, including:
Pet chests.
Manastones from reward chests.
Amplify Stone Fragments.
Enhance Stones.
These rewards can make Ascension Trials worthwhile on additional characters too, particularly when you are developing their pet collections and equipment.
Clearing trials also contributes to season and challenge missions. Check those menus after your runs, especially on newer characters with plenty of unfinished objectives.
Some challenge rewards include Mysterious Crystals, which are used in Transmute for Arcana. Work toward cards and skill bonuses that support your main build, such as a Chalice with a useful skill.
Complete Daily Dungeons Before the Weekly Reset
Despite their name, Daily Dungeons have a weekly allowance of 14 attempts. Spread your runs across the week and use your remaining entries before the weekly reset.
These dungeons provide Enhance Stones for upgrading your equipment. Even if you currently have plenty, later upgrades can consume them quickly, so completing your weekly runs helps build a reserve.
Complete Weekly Command Quests
Visit a Command Merchant in a major city to check the available weekly quests.
The city Command allowance lets you complete up to 12 quests per week. Their reward selection works similarly to daily Duties, so look for items that help your current progression.
Useful options include Nightmare tickets, Ascension Trial tickets, Shugo keys and Odyle Energy. Hidden Cube rewards can also be worth choosing when they help with unfinished exploration.
The Abyss has its own Command Merchant with several quest grades. Compare the purchase price and reward before committing to higher-grade options. More expensive quests are not automatically the best use of your Kina.
Finish Weekly Season Missions
Review your weekly season missions and complete any remaining objectives that offer worthwhile rewards.
One useful reward is the Usage Ticket Selection Chest, which lets you choose between entries for activities such as Daily Dungeons, Nightmare and Ascension Trials.
Choose the ticket according to what you need:
Nightmare: Useful when you want more coins for progression purchases such as Stigma Shards and Daevanion Crystals.
Ascension Trials: Useful when you need Manastones and the activity’s other upgrade rewards.
Daily Dungeons: An option when enhancement materials are your immediate priority.
Check your available entries before opening a selection chest. Pick an activity you can use effectively rather than adding tickets to content you are already struggling to finish.
Check the Wind Breeze Merchants
Open the shop and review the Wind Breeze Merchants listings.
Odyle Energy is an important purchase to check because it lets you claim more dungeon rewards. Other useful options can include additional Abyss time, Resurrection Spiritstones and a pet voucher.
Compare the cost with your available Kina and the activities you intend to complete. Extra energy is most useful when you have worthwhile rewards available to claim.
Shop stock, locations and purchase limits can change during events or temporary updates. Read the current item description and remaining allowance before buying, including whether the limit applies to your character or the whole server.
Craft Odyle Energy Through Substance Morph
Check Substance Morph > Special for available Odyle Energy recipes.
These crafts provide another source of energy alongside natural regeneration and shop purchases. Review them each week so you do not overlook an allowance that refreshes at reset.
Before crafting, check:
The required materials and Kina cost.
Whether the resulting item is character-bound.
Whether the crafting limit is per character or shared across the server.
How much of that allowance remains.
Use shared allowances on your main when that character needs the energy most. Check any separate character allowances before crafting on alts, and avoid assuming that switching characters creates another full server allowance.
Shop purchases and Substance Morph recipes can have different limits, so review both menus.
Scheduled Activities and PvP Rewards
Field bosses, Abyss events and PvP provide additional progression opportunities.
Check their schedules and rewards alongside your daily and weekly tasks, then prioritize the activities that support your character.
Track Field Boss Spawns
Open Exploration > Field Boss to check the available boss information and spawn timers.
You need to discover the relevant areas before their boss information becomes available, so explore those locations ahead of time.
Prioritize bosses with rewards that are useful for your current stage of progression. Check the timer before starting a dungeon or another lengthy activity so you can plan around a spawn you want to attend.
Join Abyss Siege and Corridors
Check the Abyss schedule throughout the week for Siege and Corridor opportunities.
Corridors can provide substantial Abyss Points, making them useful when you are working toward progression purchases. The amount you earn depends on the activity and your performance, so treat the rewards as a target rather than a guaranteed payout.
Review the Abyss shop before spending your points. Depending on your goals, useful purchases include Stigma Shards, relevant Daevanion Crystals, PvP wings and cosmetic items for collection progress.
Use the current event schedule to plan your attendance rather than assuming Corridors always follow a fixed interval.
Use PvP Arenas for Abyss Points
PvP Arenas offer another way to earn Abyss Points and work toward useful shop rewards.
Stigma Shards can support your skill progression, while the relevant Daevanion upgrades can contribute to your displayed gear score.
Check the bonuses you are buying, however. PvP-specific stats do not improve your PvE damage, so a higher gear score does not automatically mean you have gained an equally useful dungeon upgrade.
Read individual nodes and item effects before spending resources. Our Daevanion guide explains the different boards, crystal types and upgrade choices.
Before Reset: Final Checklist
Before the next reset, review the following:
Attendance and events: Claim available rewards on the intended character and check event expiry dates.
Duty quests: Complete the available daily objectives with rewards you need.
Energy and keys: Spend resources that are approaching their caps.
Dungeon entries: Check Nightmare, Ascension Trials and Daily Dungeons for unused allowances.
Expedition rewards: Review Conquest and Transcendence counters before further farming.
Command quests: Finish the weekly quests you want to complete.
Pass and season missions: Claim completed rewards and use selection chests deliberately.
Weekly purchases: Check Wind Breeze Merchants for useful remaining stock.
Substance Morph: Complete worthwhile energy crafts before their allowances refresh.
Scheduled activities: Check upcoming field bosses, Abyss Siege and Corridors.
If you are short on time, start with rewards that are about to expire, resources nearing their caps and activities that directly support your next upgrade.
