Daevanion in Aion 2 lets you strengthen your character through boards of stat bonuses and skill upgrades. Choosing useful nodes can improve your build, while collecting more Daevanion Crystals gives you additional points to spend.
In this guide, we’ll cover board unlocks, node colors, skill upgrades, and the main ways to get Daevanion Crystals.
If you’re still learning the game’s systems, our Aion 2 beginner guide covers useful early steps.
A huge thank you to Wigglez for his Daevanion tips!
How Daevanion Boards Work
Open Daevanion from the main menu, or press U on PC with the default keybind.
Each board has its own layout of connected nodes. Start from the center and unlock neighboring nodes to reach the bonuses you want. The five boards in the level-45 Global setup unlock at these character levels:
Nezekan — Level 12: Major bonuses include Combat Speed and Cooldown Reduction.
Zikel — Level 20: Major bonuses include Damage Boost and Damage Tolerance.
Vaizel — Level 30: Major bonuses include Critical Damage Boost and Critical Damage Tolerance.
Triniel — Level 40: Major bonuses include Multi-Hit Chance and Multi-Hit Resist.
Azphel — Level 45: Focuses on PvP bonuses, including PvP Damage Boost and PvP Damage Tolerance.
The first four boards share your regular Daevanion points. Azphel uses separate points from Daevanion Crystal: Azphel, so its upgrades do not draw from that same pool. Although it focuses on PvP, some nodes, such as HP and MP bonuses, can also help outside PvP.
Developing Daevanion contributes to your character’s stats, Combat Power, and item level.
Daevanion Node Colors and Skill Upgrades
Node colors show both the type of upgrade and its point cost:
Gray — 1 point: Basic attributes such as HP, MP, Attack Bonus, or Defense Bonus.
Green — 2 points: Adds a level to the passive skill named on the node.
Blue — 3 points: Adds a level to the active skill named on the node.
Orange — 4 points: Major percentage bonuses, generally found around the board’s corners.
Read the skill name before choosing a green or blue node. Each upgrades a specific skill, so prioritize the ones your build uses.
Normal skill-point investment raises active and passive skills to level 10. Daevanion nodes can increase their levels further, alongside bonuses from equipment and Arcana.
For active skills, these extra levels help you reach additional Specialty unlocks, which can change how a skill works. Passive skills also become stronger with extra levels, but they do not have Specialty choices.
Plan Your Board and Refund Nodes
Points are limited, so plan a route toward useful upgrades instead of unlocking every nearby node.
For the standard level-45 Global setup, the usual sources provide around 416 points, while filling the first four boards requires 570. That covers roughly 73% of the total point cost, rather than every available upgrade. This budget can change as new content and level-cap increases arrive.
When choosing a route:
Prioritize nodes for the active skills and passives central to your build.
Work toward orange bonuses that suit your role and the content you play.
Include the cost of connecting nodes when comparing different paths.
Our Aion 2 class builds include skill priorities and Daevanion recommendations to help you choose upgrades for your class.
If you take the wrong route, use Refund Nodes to recover the points. Refunds cost 500 Kina per node, so check the total before removing a long path. You can rebuild your allocation, but repeated changes add up.
How to Get Daevanion Crystals
You gain Daevanion points as you level, with additional points coming from Daevanion Crystals.
Crystals arrive as inventory items. Select them, choose how many to consume, and press Use to add their points to Daevanion. You can also inspect the item’s Source list to find activities that award it.
Clear Sealed Dungeons
Sealed Dungeons in your own region are a reliable source of early points. Each first-time completion awards two Daevanion Crystals, alongside rewards such as two Wisdom Stones, Enhance Stones, and other useful items.
Open your map and check Exploration > Sealed Dungeons to find the ones you still need to complete.
Undiscovered locations can appear as question marks. After discovery, Sealed Dungeons use a circular icon, while Strongholds have a different, base-like marker. Check the activity and its rewards before heading there for crystals.
These are completion rewards, so work through unfinished dungeons rather than expecting repeated clears of the same one to keep awarding crystals.
Complete Regional Quests
Regional quests provide more Daevanion Crystals, often alongside Kina, Wisdom Stones, and other progression materials.
Open your Journal with J on PC using the default keybind, then check the available Regional quests and their rewards. Prioritize quests that list Daevanion Crystals, especially when they are near other activities you are completing.
Buy Crystals from the Nightmare Trade Shop
Once you unlock Nightmare, complete its challenges to earn Phantasmal Fragments.
Open Nightmare > Trade Shop > Growth to find Daevanion Crystals. Each costs 300 Phantasmal Fragments, with a limit of 50 crystals per character.
Buying the full allocation costs 15,000 Phantasmal Fragments, so you can work toward it as you progress through Nightmare.
Spend Shugo Festival Tokens
Take part in Shugo Festival activities to earn Centuryroot Tokens, then open Festival Shop → Consumables.
Daevanion Crystals are sold in four successive tiers:
10 crystals at 50 tokens each.
10 crystals at 100 tokens each.
15 crystals at 200 tokens each.
15 crystals at 400 tokens each.
Each tier becomes available after you buy out the previous one. Across all four tiers, you can purchase 50 crystals per character for 10,500 tokens.
