Fixed Elements
The base terrain remains consistent across all playthroughs. This includes the underlying map bedrock, which never changes unless altered by major events.
Permanent Structures
Element | Explanation |

Spectral Hawk Trees (and the Wind Currents they follow) | These are always in fixed locations and help with traversal. |
Spiritstreams | These Landmarks remain static and typically help you reach higher areas. |
Sites of Grace | Always found in the same spots across every run, and new ones will Spawn in the center of the arena after defeating the Evergaol Bosses. |
Evergaols | These arenas consistently offer Boss Battles in each run. |
Caves | The location of Caves is constant in every playthrough. |
The large Castle located at the center of the Map | A fixed Landmark, unaffected by regular RNG systems, but the Loot inside is still randomized. |
Randomized Elements

Churches | Always appear and always grant a Healing Upgrade, but never in the same location twice. |
Sorcerer’s Rises | Their placement and loot yield shifts with each playthrough. |
Exceptions
Major map-altering events called Shifting Earth, such as a large crater forming at the top of the map, can change even some of the fixed elements. These rare events can override the map structure's normal consistency or add new challenging Modifiers, such as a Boss that’ll attack you anywhere on the map.
