This is IN DEPTH Guide for my Unarmed Hollow Palm Monk Build for 0.4

❗ In 0.4 the speed was nerfed, but the high APS is still achievable on a very high budget. If you feel like Hollow Palm isn't working out for you due to the changes, in the Endgame you can swap to Ice Strike Melee Version with Weapon or Nuke Wave.

This guide will lead you from League Start to Becoming an embodiment of SPEED with 9-10+ Attacks per second, literally FLYING through maps while clearing screens and fast killing T4 Pinnacles.

This build guide will help you to pick the gear and gems and setup your Hollow Palm Monk Build.

In the expensive Endgame we are going to utilize Tempest Flurry to FLY through maps at HYPER SPEED + Staggering Palm which provides great clear with projectiles. Check the video to see how it works.

Since Build has massive amount of attacks with Combo Generation - Falling Thunder can be used as a finisher combined with combos from Culmination II.

We can also use Wind Dancer to generate Power Charges to fuel both - finisher and Charged Staff for even better clear. Tech will be explained in the Skill section down Below.

All of that while staying VERY TANKY, with 6k+ ES, 55-60% Evasion, 30% Deflection + Blasphemy with defensive aura. Making that build an ULTIMATE ALL ROUNDER!

In 0.4 GGG lowered the scaling for Hollow palm but changed the basic Attack Speed it can provide. Therefore attack speed is going to be lower in the endgame and higher in the campaign now.

Campaign Rewards:

Charges, Stun Threshold, Resistances, Movement Speed or Global Defense

  • Dont need to Search for a Weapon

Build Variants

You can swap into Hollow Palm Technique version around 23-25 Level when you will have a Hollow Palm Notable allocated.

During the campaign you will need to focus on EVASION Related gear because Attack Speed from Hollow Palm will scale better early on than Crit.

Your main item to scale it is Body Armour - so try to always have a body armour with maximum amount of Evasion for the campaign.

The rest of the gear can be Evasion too or Evasion / Energy Shield hybrids.

Bosses and Single Target:

You can use Storm Wave for both - bossing and single target damage.

However stacking some Rage I with Tempest Bell and Tempest Flurry is still recommended.

Clearing Packs:

Branching Fissures I support is great for clearing packs. so use at at the Storm Wave

Since the progression is pretty close you don't really need to swap anything between the Bow and Hollow palm tree at lvl 23+.

Just progress slowly to the right, focusing on getting Wild Storm and Exposed to the Storm for initial Damage boost.

How we are generating charges for Charged Staff:

To generate charges we will use Lingering Illusion - when enemies are hitting illusion after you dodge roll, you will get charges.

Roll more to generate, it can feel not that smooth but it is an easier option to generate on low level before Ailith's Chimes is available.

DON'T INVEST Into Crit too Early:

Start getting Crit nodes such as Moment of Truth or Heartstopping only when you are 50+ lvl .

Ascendancy Order for Invoker:

1. I am the Thunder...

2. Lead me through Grace...

3. Sunder my Enemies...

How it Works

If you die RANDOMLY

Check that your Mana flask doesn't have "% mana recovered is removed from Life". It literally one shots you when you use the mana flask.

Get ANYTHING else on your Mana Flask.
