Build Overview

All rounded support mostly for Duo gameplay. While you can change it to work in 3-6 Player party focusing on Time Freeze duration.

Shortly about this Chronomancer Support:

  • Does reach 30sec+ which means you not getting that penalty that halves duration of Time Freeze if enemy was time frozen in past 30 seconds.
    So with you cast it atleast twice for 1 minute .
  • If you want you can use to double it to 2 minutes.
  • Plus extra procs of which can increase it even further.
  • with ~50% reduced Stun/Ailment Threshold
  • + Curse Auras.
  • or any DPS Curse your carry need.
  • to apply Critical Weakness (+10% Crit Chance) and .
  • with ~40 Sec duration to get , and , and if needed .
  • with ~2 Sec cooldown.
  • for Energy Shield overflow.
  • because why not.
  • Optionally if your carry is projectile build.
  • ~7.5-8k Energy Shield with decent gear (On weapon set 1), can reach over 10k.
  • Most of gear is relatively cheap, like Belt that only really need resists. Or Ring that need any of 2 Attributes plus 1 Resist.
  • so immune to Chaos Damage.

I don't know if there's point to make video when this build's showcase is literally just walking and sometimes pressing some buttons lol

Time Freeze calculation for this example of setup:

  • First about . Base duration is 3 seconds. Then this setup has 440% Increased Skill Effect Duration and that grant 40% More Skill Effect Duration.
  • So duration of is: (3 x 4.4) x 1.4 = 13.2 x 1.4 = 18.4 Sec
  • Then comes in with "Other effects on Cursed enemies expire 25% slower".
  • Base curse effect of is 100% (obviously lol), then this setup has 89% Curse Effect + 84% Aura Effect which simply stack together to 173% Curse Effect plus base 100% Curse Effect so have 273% increased Curse Effect.
    And that has 41% Less Curse Effect at lvl19-20.
  • In total its: 25 x (2.73 x 0.59) = 25 x 1.61 = 40%. So applies 40% Slower Expire Rate to all debuffs, including .
  • And finally actual duration of : 18.4 sec / 0.6 = 30.6 Sec

This gear doesn't look anything crazy, can't tell exact price but you can make something similar in under 10 Div for gear + few Divs for jewels and Perfect Jeweller Orbs, and 20lvl uncut Skill Gems.

About Gear for each item, mods sorted by priority:

  • Wand:
    - +# to All Spell Skills. Adds levels to Curses.
    - +# to Intelligence. Build need attributes.

  • Scepter (Set 1, Main):
    - If Carry is Energy Shield build get for .
    - If not then for .
    - Presence Area of Effect.
    - +# to Intelligence. Build need attributes.
    - Allies in your Presence deal #% increased Damage.
    - Any extra Presence stuff like Attack/Cast Speed, Critical Chance/Damage, added Flat Damage or Accuracy.

  • Scepter (Set 2):
    - Same base as Set 1 Scepter.
    - Doesn't really need any stats since you will swap to Set 2 only to use or .

  • Shield (Set 2):
    corrupted for more than 50% increased Skill Effect Duration.

  • Helmet:
    with which reduce Dex requirement to 94 with 1 rune. At higher budget can get Helmet with 2 runes.

  • Body Armor:
    - High Energy Shield, more better.
    - 2-3 Elemental Resistances.

  • Gloves:
    - Slow Magnitude corrupted Enchant.
    - Any good amount of Int or Dex.
    - Any good Resistances.
    - Any good Energy Shield.

  • Boots:
    - Movement Speed.
    - High Energy Shield.
    - Any Elemental Resistances if you need.
    - Stun threshold not required but decent mod.

  • Amulet:
    - Energy Shield, Flat and Percentile.
    - All Attributes.
    - +# to All Spell Skills.
    - Anything extra like more Attributes or Resistances.

  • Rings:
    - for +1 Max Curse.
    - Rare ring with any of 2 Attributes with good roll + 1 Resistance.
    - Mana is better than nothing but it's like whatever. Even evasion might be more helpful.

  • Belt:
    - Triple Elemental Resistances.
    - Good if you find one with corrupted enchant for %Energy Shield, Int or Dex.

  • Jewels:
    - for to take and 2 small Duration passives with weapon set 2 points.
    - 4 Jewels with as much Aura Effect and Skill Effect Duration you can get.
    - Can temporary drop some of Energy Shield passives to get another Jewel Socket.
    - Giga high budget: jewel with magic jewels with Aura Effect and Skill Effect Duration.
