Overview

Aniimo gives you plenty of ways to earn experience, but it isn’t always clear which activities are worth your time. When you need a few more levels for your next Title Promotion, knowing where to earn experience can save you time.

This Aniimo leveling guide covers how to raise your Wayfarer level efficiently, which EXP rewards to prioritise and where to find extra experience when progress slows down.

A huge thank you to Verlisify for sharing these leveling tips. Make sure to check out his channel for more Aniimo guides!

Follow the Main Story and Elite Training

Start with the main story and check your Elite Training objectives as you progress. Story quests provide large experience rewards, while Elite Training adds extra rewards for tasks such as exploring regions, collecting badges and completing challenges.

Look for objectives you can complete together. If Elite Training asks you to defeat an Alpha in an area you are already visiting, completing that fight can earn both its first-clear reward and the training reward.

Check earlier training objectives too. Moving to a later stage does not mean every previous reward has been claimed, and unfinished tasks can still provide useful experience.

Keep up with your Title Assessments as you meet their requirements. Check what your next promotion needs so you know whether to continue earning experience or complete an outstanding objective.

Reaching Junior Wayfarer also unlocks a free companion through the Prismana Pact event. For broader tips on catching creatures and upgrading your team as you progress, check out our Aniimo beginner guide.

Complete Your Daily Activities

Daily activities provide up to 3,000 bonus experience per day, making them a useful part of your leveling routine. Complete the listed tasks and claim each reward checkpoint before the daily reset shown in-game.

The rewards also include items and Companion Handbook experience, so you can make progress beyond your player level at the same time.

Each daily activity reward checkpoint provides 600 experience, adding up to 3,000 experience across the daily track. Rewards also include a special egg and Companion Handbook experience.

Catch New Aniimo and Claim Collection Rewards

Catching a species for the first time gives you experience and contributes towards your collection progress. As you explore, look for Aniimo you have not caught yet and check how close you are to the next area badge.

Reaching 40% collection progress in Blitzwood awards 500 experience. Keep working towards collection medal milestones and claim their rewards as you unlock them.

Check your species research objectives as well. These provide additional rewards for specific achievements, such as owning an Elite specimen. Catching duplicates can help with those objectives, but look at what each entry requires before spending time on it.

Claim your completed collection and research rewards regularly so that experience is counted towards your next level.

Prioritise First-Time Alpha Clears

Defeating a new Alpha provides 500 experience for its first clear. Subsequent reward claims provide 150 experience and cost energy, so check for Alphas you have not cleared before returning to the same fight.

Match these encounters with your Elite Training objectives whenever possible. That lets you collect the battle reward and make progress towards another experience reward from the same activity.

As you reach later areas, check available Omega encounters too. These offer further loot and experience and can help you progress once your team is ready for them.

Complete Pathfinder Challenges and Sanctums

Pathfinder challenges are worth completing as you travel between quests. They award 300 experience, with extra experience available when they also satisfy an Elite Training objective.

Check the Path of Victory tasks before choosing a battle. If a nearby challenge matches an objective, track it and collect both rewards after completing it.

Completing Sanctums can earn you around 500 experience, making them worth checking when you need extra progress towards a promotion.

Pick up Lumin Amber when you receive a nearby notification, and check your training objectives for exploration tasks involving Blooms or world eggs. Completing these while travelling helps you collect extra rewards without making a separate trip.

Check Side Quests and Set Up Your Homeland

Open your Log to review Journey tasks, side quests and story objectives you have left unfinished. Interact with green quest markers you pass, even if you do not plan to complete the quest immediately. Starting the quest lets you review its objectives and decide when to tackle it.

Longer side quest chains can provide substantial experience, making them useful when you are close to another level. Prioritise quests near your current route or those that also complete training objectives.

Start the Homeland quest line when it becomes available. Setting up resource production lets your Homeland keep working while you explore, and its quests provide another source of experience as you develop it.

Use Daily Supply Packs for Extra Experience

Daily Supply Packs offer a quick experience boost in exchange for energy. Each pack has the following rewards, cost and purchase limit:

  • 250 experience per pack.
  • 50 energy per pack.
  • A limit of three packs per day.

Buying all three provides 750 experience for 150 energy, along with upgrade materials.

These packs are useful when you want immediate experience, but consider the other rewards you need before spending your energy. Alpha reward claims also use energy, so choose the option that helps with your current goals.

What to Do When Leveling Slows Down

If you need another level or two for your next promotion, check for unfinished content and unclaimed rewards:

  • Continue any main story quests you have left behind.
  • Claim completed daily activity and Elite Training rewards.
  • Review earlier training stages and optional training paths.
  • Catch missing species and claim collection badges.
  • Clear new Alphas, Pathfinder challenges and nearby Sanctums.
  • Finish available side quests and Homeland objectives.

Keep returning to the main story as you meet its requirements. Combining quest progress with daily activities, collection rewards and nearby challenges gives you several ways to keep leveling throughout the game.
