Aniimo Egg Hatching Guide: Eggs, Aniipods and Potential

Choosing an Aniipod for an egg hatch is easier once you know what the egg already promises. Some guarantee a minimum potential rating, while others guarantee a Sparkling mutation. The right item can improve your result, but spending a rare Aniipod on a benefit you already have wastes resources.

Incredible Eggs and Sparkling Eggs can be hatched at Outpost Hatchinators or Home Hatchinators.

1. Select your egg and read its description.
2. Choose Twine to open the Aniipod selection menu.
3. Compare the egg’s guarantee at the bottom left with any added hatching effect shown on the right.
4. Select your Aniipod, confirm the hatch and claim your Aniimo.

Read both descriptions before confirming. The egg tells you what is already guaranteed, while the selected item’s hatching text explains what it adds.

An Incredible Egg guarantees an Aniimo with Elite potential or higher. That minimum comes from the egg itself, so using a regular Aniipod will not lower it. Perfect potential is possible, but the egg does not guarantee it.

A Sparkling Egg guarantees a Sparkling mutation, which is separate from potential. Its Aniimo could still have Common potential, so a Sparkling hatch is not automatically Elite, Perfect or a strong choice for your team.

Potential guarantees also apply regardless of the Aniimo’s level or evolution stage. Hatching a Lumin-stage Aniimo does not weaken the guarantee compared with a Gamma- or Nova-stage hatch.

For these hatches, the regular Aniipod, Aniipod Pro, Aniipod Mega, Aniipod Hyper and Aniipod Track show no additional hatching effect. There is no extra potential or mutation guarantee listed for choosing one of those upgrades over a regular Aniipod.

The two options that add guarantees are:

• Aniipod Ultra: The hatched Aniimo will have at least Elite potential. Perfect remains possible, but is not guaranteed.
• Sparkling Cube: The hatched Aniimo will have Perfect potential and a Sparkling mutation.

Matching guarantees do not stack. Combining an Incredible Egg with an Ultra does not turn two Elite guarantees into Perfect potential, and repeating a Sparkling guarantee does not give you an extra mutation.

Choose based on the result you want and what the egg already provides.

Is a Sparkling Cube Worth Using on an Egg?

A Sparkling Cube can be useful when you want both of its benefits, but consider whether you know which Aniimo will hatch. If the species is unknown, you could spend it on something you do not want to build.

Using one on a Sparkling Egg is not entirely wasted: it still secures Perfect potential. However, part of its effect overlaps with the egg. If you would be happy with Elite or higher, an Ultra meets that goal without spending a Cube.

These two hatch results show how the guarantees work in practice:

• Sparkling Egg with Aniipod Ultra: A Sparkling Susuta hatched with Elite potential, at the Lumin stage with the Water element and Break role. The mutation came from the egg, while the minimum potential came from the Ultra.

• Incredible Egg with a regular Aniipod: An Elite Jawling hatched at the Lumin stage, with the Wind element and Break role. The egg supplied the potential guarantee without needing a rare Aniipod.

Neither hatch produced Perfect potential, and both met their promised results. These are individual outcomes, not species guaranteed by those combinations.
