When uploading your new Aniimo, you'll see an option to release all Aniimo of a selected Rarity in the bottom left corner of the screen. This will help with your Aniimo management and avoid cluttering your storage with Aniimo with low stats.
Be careful, though, as it might select special form Aniimo and Aniimo evolutions that you might want to keep, even if they're low rarity.
Even if you are not into the house-building aspect of Aniimo, upgrading your Homeland will significantly improve your gameplay by giving you access to more Hatchinators and extra resources.
Keep Aniimo with strong Homeland traits in your box, such as evolved Aniimo and special-form Aniimo, so you can assign them to work at your Homeland, even if you're not planning on using them in combat.
Remember to pick up shiny items in the world, as they can drop the materials needed to upgrade your RV and home.

The Map in Aniimo can show you a lot of information on each Aniimo, including their spawn conditions, which sometimes are limited to a certain weather event or additional requirements you must meet before they spawn.

Additionally, when you're planning to take on an Alpha Aniimo, you can click its icon on the map to get information about the best Aniimo and Elements against it.
Egg Hatching becomes important in the late game, when you want to obtain Shiny, Alpha, and Perfect Aniimo. Eggs give you a better chance of finding those, and you want to hatch as many of them as possible so you don't end up with a pile of unhatched eggs.

Once you finish the main story in Aniimo, the best way to get powerful items and more XP is through quests and events.
Get familiar with all the ongoing events in the Event tab, and always check out anything with a notification to claim all the possible rewards. Daily Activities in the Institute Guide tab give significant XP every day.
When obtaining badges for a region, you will need to catch certain Aniimo that show up in Alpha form only.
If you're facing a new Alpha that you need for a badge or for Aniilog completion, it is usually best to just use an Aniipod Ultra right away to avoid spending unnecessary Primergy if the catch fails.
The menus in Aniimo give you most of the information you need to progress in the game, indicating which quests give the most XP. Keep track of the Core Courses in the Elite Training tab and complete them all, as they give a lot of XP. The Log screen also shows all story quests that are currently active, which also give plenty of rewards.
