Overview

A break Aniimo's entire job is destroying the enemy's guard bar as fast as possible, and this list ranks every final-stage break animal by how fast they break, how easy their bonuses are to activate, and whether they only help themselves or make the enemy easier for the whole team to break.

This list was curated by our expert, CoffeeASAP. You can check out his video for full explanations!

Ranking Explanations

S Tier

  • Inferlupa: Combines one of the highest raw break stats in the game with a stacking debuff that makes the enemy itself up to 30% easier to break, opening the target up for the whole team.
  • Geoclaw: Builds its own ice stacks through normal attacks and an ice storm skill, hitting 40% better break the moment five stacks land without needing setup from any other source.
  • Wavwal: Gains 40% faster break below 15% health and can spend its own health to trigger that state deliberately, then uses enhanced attacks to heal itself and shield the team.
  • Tubster: Self-shields for a 40% break boost without relying on any teammate, while also pulling enemies together, cutting team stamina use on break, and reducing team damage taken.

A Tier

  • Minespine: Ties for the highest break stat in the game at 113, boosts it a further 15% while underground, and dodges ranged attacks in that state with a reliable multi-hit skill and no setup required.
  • Helgon: Gains 30% better break when attacked and another 20% plus a stun from a well-timed counter, rewarding aggressive, close-range play if the timing lands.
  • Panpanta: Can stack two separate 30% break bonuses through a specific family teammate and a puddle-absorption combo, giving it one of the highest ceilings in the game at the cost of a fiddly setup.
  • Rookey: Makes the enemy itself take 15% more break damage for 15 seconds and backs it up with a three-hit combo that stuns on the final blow.

B Tier

  • Pomawk: A high base break stat paired with a timing-based skill that adds 30% more break damage and a silence, rewarding precise execution but punishing missed timing.
  • Blazen: Enters an overcharge state from crits that cheapens all its skills and boosts crit chance for a window, but lacks the single huge break multiplier the top tiers have.
  • Tuckin: Buffs a trio of summoned minions with 20% better break, healing, and strength, but the payoff depends entirely on the summons doing their job.

C Tier

  • Shrubclaw: Needs six stacks built up before its 30% break bonus kicks in, making the payoff solid but the setup slow, especially with the lowest break stat on the list.

D Tier

  • Magmarex: Has a respectable base break stat but no real way to break faster or make the enemy easier to break, leaving it a purely stat-and-fire-stack kit with no standout mechanic.
