Last Rite
Xaihi
Perlica
Tangtang
Last Rite can benefit from Tangtang for extra Cryo Inflictions and Arts Susceptibility on the enemy. Xaihi is non-negotiable as she increases the damage of both Last Rite and Tangtang. Perlica can apply electrification just by using her Combo Skill, but can be replaced with
Akekuri (for
Thermite Cutter and SP Generation).
Yvonne
Xaihi
Gilberta
Tangtang
Once again, Yvonne and Last Rite competes for teammates, and it's no different with Tangtang. Removing
Alesh /
Akekuri from the team means we're losing
Thermite Cutter, and since Gilberta is already applying Arts Susceptibility, Tangtang value can feel a bit diminished here. She's still able to apply Cryo Inflictions at a lower SP Cost and immobilize enemies, but without her signature weapons (
Brigand's Calling), she's not better than other existing options.
Tangtang
Xaihi
Akekuri
Perlica
A team that uses Tangtang as your main DPS. Keep in mind you need to trigger another Cryo Infliction or an Arts Burst to get Tangtang 2nd waterspout, so timing your Xaihi Combo Skill is really important for this team. Gilberta can replace Perlica for grouping and Corrosion.
Tangtang
Xaihi
Alesh
Gilberta
Another Tangtang-focused team, using Alesh to consume Cryo Inflictions and generate SP for your team. Keep in mind you need Gilberta (or any character that can apply Physical Status) to shatter enemies and trigger Alesh's Combo Skill.

Weapons
- Best-in-Slot:
Brigand's Calling - Alt:
Home Longing - Alt:
Wedge
Tangtang's Signature is, by far, her best option in any team. Not only does it increase her damage output, it also applies Arts DMG Taken% on enemies, which is a really strong and rare multiplier.
Both Home Longing and Wedge are decent alternatives, as Tangtang can activate and use their effects to increase her personal damage, but still less than a single copy of her signature weapon.

OBJ Velocitous can find some use due to its Ultimate Gain Efficiency%, but you'll trade a lot of her personal damage for this.
Gear
- Gear Set:
Bonekrusha - Armor:
Bonekrusha Heavy Armor T2 - Gloves:
MI Security Gloves /
LYNX Gloves - Kit 1:
Bonekrusha Mask T2 - Kit 2:
Bonekrusha Mask T2
The
Bonekrusha set works perfectly with Tangtang's gameplan. You are always aiming to use 2x Combo Skills before using her Battle Skill and doing so maximizes Bonekrusha's stacks. While you could use
Eternal Xiranite for DMG Bonus, you will trade a lot of her personal damage for minimal gains in your team damage.
LYNX Gloves is only recommended if you need the Ultimate Gain Efficiency% for specific rotation breakpoints, otherwise
MI Security Gloves will give Tangtang better damage potential.
Potential
- P1 Reserve Hoard
- P2 River's Daughter
- P3 Chiefly Vibe
- P4 Qingbo Meditation
- P5 Chief's All-Eldritch Gaze
How to Play
While Tangtang can definitely deal damage, a lot of her team utility comes from her Cryo Inflictions on enemies when using her Battle Skill. When consuming whirlpools, her Battle Skill also apply Arts Susceptibility and returns some SP.
Whirlpools are generated with her Combo Skill, which only requires applying Cryo Infliction or Arts Burst on enemies. This is extremely efficient in
Last Rite teams, since you can use Last Rite's Battle Skill to trigger Tangtang Combo Skill.
To maximize the Arts Susceptibility effect, Tangtang requires 2 whirlpools in the field, this makes her gameplay a bit slow, since you need to use her Combo Skill 2 times before a Battle Skill, but the damage and susceptibility effects makes up for it. You can also use her Ultimate to consume whirlpools and generate the same waterspouts as her Battle Skill.
The Ultimate is great for damage but also to protect your operators from aggressive enemies. For example,
Yvonne can focus on using her Basic Attacks while on her Ultimate, even before staggering the enemy. Just remember to use a dive attack before it expires to get increased effects from it.
Example Rotation:
- Fight start: Ima Waveridaah
- Combo Skill: River, To Me!
- Apply another Cryo Infliction/Burst using another character
- Combo Skill: River, To Me!
- Battle Skill: Ima Waveridaah
- Apply another Cryo Infliction/Burst using another character
- Combo Skill: River, To Me!
- Apply another Cryo Infliction/Burst using another character
- Combo Skill: River, To Me!
- Ultimate: Da Chief Sees You!
- Dive Attack
