Skill Overview
== The information below is a summary from the 1.1 Dev Log and will be updated after her release! ==
Basic Attack: Perform up to 5 basic attack sequences, dealing Cryo Damage to enemies.
Battle Skill: Fires at enemies at close range and creates a Waterspout, applying Cryo Inflicition to enemies within range and dealing Damage over time. If there are Whirpools nearby, they will be consumed to create additional Waterspouts and cause all Waterspouts formed by this skill to apply Arts Susceptibility to enemies.
Combo Skill: Pierces through enemies in front to deal DMG and creates a Whirlpool that lasts for a period of time.
Trigger: When applying Cryo Infliction or dealing Arts Burst DMG to an enemy.
Ultimate: Deals damage and pauses the actions of enemies over a wide area. When the effect ends, a rogue wave comes crashing down to deal massive DMG. If the controlled operator performs a dive attack withing the area, the state will end early and the skill's effects will be enhanced.
Best Teams
DISCLAIMER: The teams below are based in the available information about Tangtang and synergies with existing characters. This list will be updated after her release as we gather more information about her teams!
======================
Last Rite
Xaihi
Perlica Tangtang
Last Rite can benefit from Tangtang for extra Cryo Inflictions and Arts Susceptibility on the enemy. Xaihi is non-negotiable as she increases the damage of both Last Rite and Tangtang. Perlica can apply electrification just by using her Combo Skill, but can be replaced with
Akekuri (for
Thermite Cutter and SP Generation) or
Ardelia (Corrosion, Sustain and more Arts Susceptibility).
Yvonne
Xaihi
Gilberta Tangtang
Once again, Yvonne and Last Rite competes for teammates, and it's no different with Tangtang. Removing
Alesh /
Akekuri from the team means we're losing
Thermite Cutter, but getting access to Arts Susceptibility on this team can lead to higher damage potential.
==============
We're still unsure about the viability of Tangtang as a main DPS, so stay tuned for updates after her release!

How to Play
While Tangtang can definitely deal damage, a lot of her team utility comes from her Cryo Inflictions on enemies when using her Battle Skill. When consuming Whirlpools, her Battle Skill also apply Arts Susceptibility and returns some SP.
Whirlpools are generated with her Combo Skill, which only requires applying Cryo Infliction or Arts Burst on enemies. This is extremely efficient in
Last Rite teams, since you can use Last Rite's Battle Skill to trigger Tangtang Combo Skill.
The Ultimate is great for damage but also to protect your operators from aggressive enemies. For example,
Yvonne can focus on using her Basic Attacks while on her Ultimate, even before staggering the enemy. Just remember to use a dive attack before it expires to get increased effects from it.
Release Date
Tangtang will release on March 12th, 2026 along with the release of Update 1.1.
Banner: March 12th, 2026 to March 29th, 2026
Her banner will likely last approximately 2.5 weeks. From there, she will be removed from the off-banner pool after 2 additional banners, making her total run time end in approximately early May.
