Operator Profile

Si breaks the rules and changes how you approach combat, rotations and even team building. She can adapt her inflictions to the element of the first operator of your team, and can also support them with many buffs, including a Combo Skill cooldown reduction effect. Si can benefit from these effects, as long as she's in the first slot of your team.

Her Inksoul mechanic creates a stationary enemy that redirects all damage, inflictions and special statuses to the linked enemy, removing the need of chasing enemies in the arena.

Best Teams

Si - Tangtang - Arcane - Xaihi

A team that uses 3 sub-DPS to buff each other. The entire team can apply Cryo Inflictions on the enemy and Arcane can trigger Corrosion with her Battle Skill, activating Si's Combo Skill for massive damage.

Laevatain - Si - Camille - Wulfgard

A Laevatain team that uses Si for Heat Amp, AoE damage and Inksoul for a easier combat. Laevatain can also trigger Si's Combo Skill (and Camille too), adding a bit more damage to your rotations.

Yvonne - Tangtang - Si - Xaihi

Similar to Laevatain, Yvonne can make good use from Inksoul for a safer and easier combat. It also ensures your Yvonne will deal as much damage as possible, since she doesn't need to chase enemies during her Ultimate.

Last Rite - Tangtang - Si - Xaihi

If Yvonne can make use of, so can Last Rite. Si makes Last Rite combos and rotations much more consistent and Artful Intent can "fix" Last Rite's lack of AoE.

Best Weapons and Gear

Weapons

  • Jade Vessel - Si's Signature Weapon
  • Long Heritage - Battle Pass Alternative

As an Intellect great sword Operator, Si lacks weapon options. She can trigger Khravengger, but since it gives Strength, the final damage will be much lower than her Signature or the Battle Pass weapon.

Jade Vessel is by far the best weapon for Si. Not only it does enhance her damage output, it also applies Increased DMG Taken on enemies, increasing the entire team's damage output. Similarly, Long Heritage also increases the entire team's damage output, but with much lower value than her Signature weapon.

While not recommended, If playing Si as a pure support (making use of her Talent/Ultimate), Seeker of Dark Lung can be used to achieve some Ultimate Gain Breakpoints. You will forfeit a lot of damage for this, so using a single copy of the Battle Pass weapon is a much better option.

Gear

Damage Focus

Gear Set: Type 50 Yinglung
Body: Type 50 Yinglung Soft Armor
Gloves: Type 50 Yinglung Gloves v2
Kit 1: Type 50 Yinglung Beacon
Kit 2: LYNX Slab / Redeemer Seal

In most scenarios, Type 50 Yinglung will be the best option for Si, as it increases her damage potential considerably. Unlike most supports, Si doesn't rely on any specific attribute to increase her buffs or utility for the team. LYNX Slab provides the best damage potential per rotation, but Redeemer Seal can be used if you need ULT Efficiency.

Damage Focus (Xiranite)

Gear Set: Eternal Xiranite
Body: Eternal Xiranite MOD Armor
Gloves: Eternal Xiranite Channeling Gloves
Kit 1: Eternal Xiranite Rangefinder
Kit 2: LYNX Slab / Redeemer Seal

If no one else is using Eternal Xiranite, you can use it on Si and activate it with her Ultimate. Keep in mind the damage potential is lower than Type 50 Yinglung, and this is only recommended if you have someone else to make use of the Team DMG%.

"Pure" Support

Gear Set: Eternal Xiranite
Body: Eternal Xiranite Overalls
Gloves: Eternal Xiranite Gloves
Kit 1: Eternal Xiranite Power Core
Kit 2: Eternal Xiranite Rangefinder / Redeemer Seal

For a more "hyper-carry" setup (using Si's Ultimate to reduce the Combo Cooldown of your Team Slot 1), it's better to focus on Ultimate Gain Efficiency. How much you'll need depends on the team and rotation, so adjust accordingly.

Skill Priority

Combo Skill > Ultimate > Battle Skill >= Basic Attack

Most of Si's damage comes from her Combo Skill (Fully Envisioned), so it's highly recommended to focus and level up this skill as high as you can.

Both her Ultimate (No One Spoils the Fun) and Battle Skill (Brushwork Realm) are mostly used for the Team Utility. It's recommended to level the Ultimate as high as possible, but you can keep her Battle Skill at Lv7 while leveling other skills/operators.

Basic Attacks are automatically used even when the operator is not being controlled, so don't ignore them and level them up as you can!

Potential

Potential 1: Spring and Autumn as Ink

Better Artful Intent damage and AoE.

Potential 2: Three Marks Deep in Wood

Huge increase to her damage potential, as you get the ATK% buff when casting the Combo Skill, meaning that the Combo Skill itself will also make use of the increased ATK.

Potential 3: Study of Muscles and Bones

20% increase on both damage and Amp effect of her Ultimate (43% Cryo/Heat Amp @ M3)

Potential 4: Perfectly Composed in Spirit

Can enable some new rotations, but it's unlikely to change your gear since you're not focusing on ULT Efficiency to begin with (unless you're playing Si as a "support")

Potential 5: Brush Dab in Eye's White

Very strong potential that massively increases her damage output. One extra infliction stack is already a ~8.7% damage increase, but this extra stack will also benefit from the final 1.15x multiplier. This means that this potential increases the damage of a 4-stack Combo by 25%, and the reduced cooldown means you'll use it more frequently through the fight!

If that's not enough, her Potential 2 also benefits from Potential 5, so you'll get even more ATK% from it.

How to Play

Si proves that doing damage and providing utility are not mutually exclusive.

Forget about all the rules. Si changes how you can approach combat and brings some "impossible" rotations to life. All of this while also boasting very high damage potential that requires minimal setup.

Si utility is completely unique, and mostly centered on her Battle Skill (Brushwork Realm). She can mark enemies with her Battle Skill, creating a source of AoE damage for teams that lack AoE (looking at you, Last Rite). She can also create an Inksoul from a marked enemy, a stationary enemy that redirects all damage, effects and inflictions to the original target. This allows you to dump resources and deal damage to enemies without the risk of them teleporting away and destroying your rotation.

The Ultimate does some damage, but that's not the main reason for you to use it. It's for the Amp effect it provides (Cryo/Heat) and the Combo Cooldown reduction effect granted by her Combat Talent (Proxy's Patronage). Being able to quickly trigger another Combo is massive, enabling new rotations that no one has ever thought of before.

Keep in mind another Combo Skill also means increased Ultimate Energy generation for the caster, so it can also change ULT Efficiency breakpoints on some units.

Her Combo Skill can't be triggered by herself, as it requires absorbing or consuming Cryo/Heat Inflictions from the enemy, but the damage is massive and you should use it whenever possible. The damage scales with the number of Inflictions absorbed/consumed, so keep this in mind when optimizing your rotation.

==================

How you're going to play her depends entirely on your team and what you're expecting out of Si.

  1. For utility, using her Battle Skill is all you'll need for some AoE and, if needed, an Inksoul on the field.
  2. Remember to use the Ultimate before using your main sources of damage.
  3. As for her Combo, you want to trigger it as much as possible, but don't go out of your way and break your team's rotation for it.

Laevatain teams can quickly trigger Si's Combo thanks to Laevatain absorbing Heat Inflictions from enemies. Similarly, Last Rite can trigger Si's Combo when using her own Combo. Si can also be the main DPS on the team, just use an Operator of another Element (such as Arcane) to consume Cryo Inflictions and trigger her Combo.

Release Date

Si released on October 15th, 2026 along with the release of the Sanctuary of Ink version (1.6).

Banner: October 15th, 2026 until November 5th, 2026

From there, she will be removed from the off-banner pool after 2 additional banners, making her total run time end in approximately early January, 2027.
