Typhoeus Build Guide

Typhoeus - Arcane - Liino - Perlica

Since Typhoeus requires Nature Infliction on enemies to generate resources when using her Battle Skill, you will be forced to play with at least one Nature unit on the team that can apply Nature Infliction on enemies. Arcane is one of the strongest units for this, as she's extremely flexible and can be built both as a DPS or an enabler for Typhoeus. Liino is a great support to enhance Nature units, but you won't be able to trigger her combo as much as you want since you're not supposed to use Nature Inflictions to trigger a reaction. Perlica helps with that while also adding more damage potential to Typhoeus (and Arcane).

A more F2P approach for a Typhoeus team, following the same idea as the team above.

Weapons

• Umbra of Frigid Eventide (Signature) - Best-in-Slot
• Suffering's End - Battle Pass Alternative
• Detonation Unit - 6-Star Alternative

Typhoeus weapon options are very restricted as she's an Agility Arts Unit operator. It's highly recommended to get either her signature weapon or the Battle Pass alternative, as they are stronger than Detonation Unit, especially at lower potential.

Her Signature weapon is by far the best option, as all the stats and weapon effects synergizes perfectly. Agility, ATK, Arts Intensity (for better Arts Burst damage) and a lot of Arts DMG% for the user. Similarly, Suffering's End also synergizes well with Typhoeus, but with lower offensive stats.

While Typhoeus can activate Detonation Unit, you lose ATK% and a lot of Nature DMG% compared to the other options, and it's likely that you'll have other sources of DMG Taken% on her team, making the weapon effect less valuable.

Gear

Deep Rampart is a new gear set added in the version 1.5. It has a perfect synergy with Typhoeus and all the individual pieces gives the perfect stats for her. As usual, LYNX Slab is the best option to maximize your Main Attribute, but in case you need extra Ultimate Gain Efficiency, you can replace it with the new Eternal Xiranite Bracing Slab T1. Depending on how much Ultimate Gain you need, you can also use LYNX Cuirass T1 or LYNX Gauntlets T1 and replace LYNX Slab with another Deep Rampart Comms.

Battle Skill > Combo Skill > Ultimate >= Basic Attack

Most of Typhoeus damage comes from Arts Bursts when using her Power Shots. Leveling up your Battle Skill increases the damage of these Nature Bursts, so it should be your top priority (aim for at least M1, ideally M3)

The Combo Skill should be leveled up for the increased Nature Burst DMG it provides. Reduced combo cooldown can help in some rotations too, but it still relies on how quickly you can apply Nature Inflictions on enemies.

Lastly, Ultimate and Basic Attacks are only leveled for the raw damage they provide.

Potential 1: Samifjod Fletching

While this Potential gives a lot of different effects, the only meaningful one is the 18% ATK increase. The barrier cooldown reduction isn't that noticeable and the 20% increased multiplier isn't impactful as her Aerial BATK have really low base multipliers.

Potential 2: Huntress's Stride

Just stats, nothing much to say.

Potential 3: Thorny Trap

Reduced combo cooldown doesn't necessarily means more Combos, as Typhoeus still requires stacking Signs to trigger it. The increased Nature Burst DMG Taken is nice, but only activates against enemies under her Combo area.

Potential 4: No Escape

Ultimate reduction cost can be quite noticeable for Typhoeus as activating it without giving up on gears is a challenge.

Potential 5: Fatal Shot

The Nature Burst DMG increase is very strong as it affects her Battle Skill Power Shots as well. It also increases the damage multiplier of her Ultimate and gives one extra Hunting Arrow after activating it, meaning 1 extra Power Shot.

Typhoeus gameplay is very straightforward, but there's a lot of room for optimizations depending on the enemy and team you're running.

Set up Nature Infliction on enemies so Typhoeus can consume them using her Battle Skill. Once you have the maximum number of sigils, you can trigger her Combo Skill to enhance her next Battle Skill, so try to apply buffs/debuffs before using her Combo to maximize your damage.

Typhoeus will release on September 2nd, 2026 along with the Dreamscape of Wind and Snow version (1.5).

Banner: September 4th, 2026 until September 30th, 2026.

Her banner will last for 26 days. From there, she will be removed from the off-banner pool after 2 additional banners, making her total run time end in approximately Early December
