Camille Build Guide

Laevatain - Wulfgard - Camille - Ardelia / Antal / Gilberta

Camille's kit is a clear upgrade over Akekuri. His damage contribution, while not massive, is still superior to Akekuri. Buffs aren't generic and the numbers aren't big. But he can grant Link effects with a higher frequency, which improves Laevatain's damage. SP generation is also really good, assuming you have enough Ultimate Gain Efficiency.

Rossi - Camille - Mi Fu - Pogranichnik / Chen Qianyu

Mi Fu and Rossi already proved to be a strong duo. Camille makes it even better, as he's helping with damage that benefits from Rossi's debuffs, while also helping Rossi deal more damage with his debuffs and buffs. The Link effect isn't that massive for Rossi, as Camille generates more Link effects that Rossi is able to consume with her Ultimate, but it's still an welcome DPS increase for the team.

Blessing of Lustrous Carmine - Best in Slot
Beacon of Duty - F2P (Battle Pass)
JET - 6-Star Alternative (Personal Damage)

Blessing of Lustrous Carmine is, essentially, the Thermite Cutter for Polearm users. The ATK% buff activates whenever the wearer recovers SP, so any future polearm vanguard can use it. The only downside is the Ultimate Gain Efficiency, which is tied to the weapon Potential. This means that unless you're going for dupes, the weapon will only provide 28.8% Ult Gain Efficiency. Meanwhile Beacon of Duty can provide 46.4% at a single copy.

But Beacon of Duty effect is much worse than Blessing of Lustrous Carmine, it only provides Physical and Heat DMG for the team. Rossi makes a better use out of it, but pure heat characters, such as Laevatain won't benefit from it that much. Depending on what weapon you decide to use, you'll need to adjust your gear to the desired Ultimate Gain Efficiency breakpoint you are looking for.

JET is the only 6-star alternative worth recommending but it's purely for Camille's personal damage. Chimeric Justice is a 5-star F2P alternative, but honestly, you should save crystals and get the Battle Pass, you don't need multiple copies for the maximum Ultimate Gain Efficiency, and the stats/effect are much better.

General Use

Gear Set: Frontiers

Frontiers is the best option for Camille, as it provides a much needed Combo Skill Cooldown reduction, good stats and a team buff. You can adjust your Ultimate Gain Efficiency as needed, depending on the weapon that you're using. For Blessing of Lustrous Carmine, Redeemer Seal and Frontiers Armor T3 are recommended, for Beacon of Duty, Frontiers Protection Suit and Frontiers Fiber Gloves T1 gives enough Ultimate Gain Efficiency for 6s3c.

Potential 1: Flame-Anointed Lance

Improves Camille's Battle Skill. The weakness is not that useful, but increasing the Heat Susceptibility is a nice damage increase to your Heat teams.

Potential 2: Tracker of Witch Scent

Just raw stats to increase Camille's Damage (and personal healing)

Potential 3: Thorned Incapacitor

A strong potential that massively improves Camille's Combo Skill. This is the best Camille's Potential by a huge margin, assuming you have a way to trigger his Combo Skill consistently.

Potential 4: Agaslehem's Sigil

Camille's Ultimate is really strong, so Ultimate cost reduction is very appreciated.

Potential 5: Sanguine Convention

Increases the effect of his Combat Talent by 150%. In total, this means 50% Heat DMG for Camille, and 12.5% for the rest of the team.

Camille is better used in Heat teams, as he's capable of applying Heat Susceptibility. He also provides the Link effect, which can be used to increase the damage of Laevatain's enhanced Battle Skill or Rossi's Ultimate.

Start with the Battle Skill and remember to refresh the Firefang Vesperwings whenever needed, as the debuffs and the Link Effect from the Combo Skill are tied to it. To maximize the SP generation, use the Combo Skill whenever possible (and ideally against enemies afflicted by your Battle Skill). Ultimate can be used for the SP regen, Link effect and/or damage depending on the situation (and Camille numbers).
