Updated on Oct 9, 2026

Overview

Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave has 4 main paths, and players can choose to play any or all routes at any time. In Act 1, players can choose Theodora, Leda, Dietrich, or Cai, and switch whenever they want to by visiting the capital hub of Dagsion.

You may pick 1 route early in the game, then switch as you progress, level up, recruit more characters, and gain experience. In this guide, with the help of our expert Mattjestic, we will break down the Leda path and provide you with the best team comps/recommended characters to recruit for the path.

Major Highlights

Frontline Tanks

  • Buccar is the best physical tank. We are taking him because his main ability reduces incoming damage by 10% when attacked. The upgraded versions also let him retaliate and hit back, which is the style we'll be playing.
  • Esmeralda is trained into a more utility/resistant tank who can deal serious damage. She takes the Guardian class, and with her ability to throw spears, she can deal lots of damage!

Frontline DPS

  • Mu is a fantastic stat-gain character with a large array of weapon choices. Right now I am running sword with her, and this, combined with her strong speed, dexterity and higher strength, makes her a great choice.
  • Guzran has some decent stat gains, such as strength, and this, combined with his personal ability Hot-Headed, allows him to be an incredible front-line DPS character.
  • Nezha has +3 attack and later on has +5 attack, which is a considerably high damage bonus for a frontline DPS character. He has good stat gains: +55 strength, +45 HP, +45 speed and +50 dexterity. The stats make him a solid swordsman or frontline DPS.

Mage DPS/ Sub Healer

  • Olympia is a great choice, as you can easily get her to 50% crit without any buffs, or nearly 70% with buffs.
  • Sirocco is a great mage option with lots of sub gain. He is versatile and can be a sub-healer and a tanky mage as well.
  • Fabio is a later-stage character you can recruit in the Dietrich line. He has 50 magic and 40 dexterity, but his speed is low. You pick Fabio if you want additional magic damage. His skill to reduce dodge is a good option in fights as well. He can compensate for the lack of magic damage in a very physical damage-heavy team.

Range DPS

  • Nuzzuo is a fantastic ranged character with a strong passive and solid stat gains. He gets 50 HP, 50 strength, 55 speed and 45 dexterity, making him a well-rounded character.

Buffs

  • Leda is naturally a must-pick character in this team comp. Her ability to dance and give her teammates additional dexterity and speed is a great way to buff her team. Leda has very high speed and great dexterity
  • Dante can give adjacent allies +10 hit and +10 crit when they trigger Stage Directions. This ability can give your other characters additional crit, bringing them closer to 50% or 70% crit chance. They do not have the best stat gain, but she could be a decent magic dealer with 45 magic, 40 speed and 40 dexterity. As she has low HP, make sure she stays in the backline.
  • Sha Lan can use Draw Back and assist magic. She can also grant additional speed to adjacent allies when she is levelled up. Overall, she doesn’t have the best stats but she does have 45 magic and 50 dexterity.

Class Preferences

Myrmidon is one of the best mid-game classes to choose in this team composition. It provides +6 damage if the unit makes a critical hit. Put this on your high DPS classes, but it does work on basically any class with 10 HP, 15 speed and 10 dexterity.

Archer with the Crescendo passive is good, as it gives +3 hit, and when your ranged characters have a bow, it increases it to +5.

Rogue is good for any class! It has very similar stats to Myrmidon, but it also gives some resistance stats.

Armored Knight is an option for frontline characters

Light Cavalry is also an option for frontliners, as it grants additional max HP.

Shaman is the option for Mages and healers. Shaman gives you +15 magic, 10 speed and 10 dexterity, which are great stat growths for Mages.

All melee classes can take Shido. Shido gives good speed and dexterity. But what we really want this for is the passive, which regens health when you crit. As the comp builds a lot of crit, it is a no-brainer.

Sniper has decent stat gain, and the passive is good if you’re carrying a bow.

Forest Knight is another option if your bow characters are a little weak, as it increases their attack.

Ranger’s passive is quite powerful, as retaliating and countering with a 50% chance is pretty strong.

Guardian is an option for characters you want to have higher resistance. Its passive also grants you additional protection after defeating a foe, making it harder for you to die

Ovate is the default mage class and provides a variety of stats for them.

Dancer is the best class for Leda based on the fact that it grants dexterity and speed.
