Crit DPS
Dietrich,
Guzran,
Mu and
Nezha are the main crit characters.
- Run
Dietrich with a sword, Answerer’s Cry, and try to get S-rank sword abilities quickly.
Dietrich has some of the best stat growth of any character. He gets 60 dexterity, 50 speed, 45 strength and 50 HP.
Mu has one of the best stat gains in the game, and if you can give her the Levin Sword, her damage can be quite potent, especially with high magic gain.
Guzran has good stat gain and can be recruited early. He has 45 strength, 50 speed, and 45 dexterity. His ability lets him gain random stats like evasion or hit.
Nezha is a top character to recruit; unfortunately, he is quite late in the game. He is versatile and can be a physical archer or a swordsman. He has 55 strength, 45 speed and 50 dexterity. What makes him really strong is his passive ability, which increases his attack.
High DMG Tank / DPS
Esmeralda is one of the best early-game tanks and the best long-range spear user for
Dietrich. She has 55 health, 55 strength and 45 dexterity. She doesn’t have the best speed, but she can potentially gain extra attack speed. Her passive isn’t great early, but it depends on what items you’re running.
Goliath is an early character you can recruit and one of the game's strongest tanks. He has strong overall stat gains: 55 HP, 60 strength, and 50 defence, which is all you need for a tank. Paired with his Passive, this can reduce enemies' movement, making it impossible for them to reach the backline.
Mage / Healer
Fabio is one of the best Mages in the game. He has 50 stat gain in magic, and when you run him as a mage and alternative healer alongside
Dante, your team will deal mixed damage.
Dante is another early-game character you can recruit early on in the game.
Dante has 45 magic, 40 speed and 40 dexterity. Unfortunately,
Dante has low HP growth, but her passive ability lets her provide extra stats to nearby teammates.
Range DPS
Inyoni is a powerful archer. She can deal a lot of physical damage with 50 strength, and she has decent HP growth. Sadly, she has low speed and dexterity, but if you go into the Archer or Sniper class, this is less of an issue. Her ability to gain additional damage with Bow makes her a perfect candidate for a Bow user.
Nuzzuo has 50 HP, 50 strength, 55 speed, and 45 dexterity. He excels in both sword and bow and is a versatile character, as he can be played in the front and backline depending on your preference. You can also
Kiroc is another early character you can recruit. He has one of the highest HP gains among ranged characters. He gets 40 strength gain, which is good for a ranged character. He also has 55 speed and 50 dexterity. You can build him with poison, which works well with his Passive; if the enemy has a status effect, it grants him additional attack and crit.
Backups
Peter,
Diego, and
Majide are backup options.
Peter is a great option for melee and ranged.
Majide has the potential to be a high-damage tank DPS.
Alternative Stat Growth
If
Dietrich isn’t your first run, then you can run the mages and grow them in alternative stat growth first to bump up some of your weaker stats before transitioning them into alternative classes.
Olympia is supposed to be trained as a Shaman and then an Ovate, which will let her deal considerable magic damage.
Olympia also has amazing stat gains, such as magic growth. Training her later on with speed and merging her with other characters will help compensate for some of her weaker stats such as speed and dexterity.
Classe Preferences
Myrmidon is the best option for anyone with high crits. The passive that increases the crit damage is really good for basically anyone.
Archer is a good option for characters who lack hit. It could be good for auto-activities so they can unlock the class passive. This class is a big buff for characters who don't gain much dexterity.
Rogue is an option for frontline characters as it has good growth. It has similar stats to Myrmidon, but it also has +5 resistance, which is good for frontline characters.
Shido is another option for high-crit characters, thanks to the Ever Vigilant passive, which regenerates some HP when you crit an enemy.
Dietrich could run the Blacksmith class, which is unique to her. It doesn’t have the best HP, strength, or magic growth, but it's good for characters who use combat abilities frequently.
