Bloodfiend's Arm — Best Heavy Bleed Weapon

Requirements: Strength - 28 / Dexterity - 11 / Arcane - 16
Bloodfiend's Arm is one of the most unusual and powerful Bleed weapons introduced in Shadow of the Erdtree. Despite being a Colossal Weapon, it can generate extremely high Blood Loss buildup when given the Blood affinity. Bloodfiend's Arm also receives unusually strong status scaling compared with most Blood-infused weapons.
Its Heavy Attacks have an additional blood-splash effect, giving the weapon a unique method of applying Blood Loss while simultaneously dealing the high damage and stance damage expected from a Colossal Weapon.
Unlike traditional fast Bleed setups, Bloodfiend's Arm is built around fewer, much heavier attacks. It requires considerably more Strength than our general Arcane progression, so builds centered around it should adjust their attributes accordingly.
Location: Dropped by a Bloodfiend in Prospect Town in Gravesite Plain.
Eleonora's Poleblade — Best Multi-Hit Bleed Weapon

Requirements: Strength - 12 / Dexterity - 21 / Arcane - 19
Eleonora's Poleblade is an excellent DEX/ARC weapon that combines Physical and Fire damage with Blood Loss buildup.
Its Unique Skill, Bloodblade Dance, performs a rapid sequence of attacks before allowing you to disengage, making it excellent at simultaneously dealing damage and building Blood Loss.
Its unique Heavy Attacks also hit multiple times, while Arcane increases its Physical and Fire damage as well as its Blood Loss buildup.
This makes it one of the most complete weapons for the Dexterity/Arcane progression.
Location: Dropped by Eleonora, Violet Bloody Finger, at the Second Church of Marika.
Rivers of Blood — Best Bleed Katana Skill

Requirements: Strength - 12 / Dexterity - 18 / Arcane - 20
Rivers of Blood remains a strong DEX/ARC Katana despite no longer having the overwhelming reputation it had earlier in Elden Ring's life.
Its Unique Skill, Corpse Piler, unleashes a sequence of blood-coated slashes with excellent range and rapid Blood Loss buildup. The weapon also combines Physical and Fire damage with innate Bleed.
It isn't simply a direct upgrade over weapons such as the Uchigatana or Nagakiba, since those weapons offer customizable affinities and Ashes of War. Rivers of Blood instead excels as a complete package built around Corpse Piler.
Location: Dropped by Bloody Finger Okina at the Church of Repose in the Mountaintops of the Giants.
Nagakiba — Best Customizable Bleed Katana

Requirements: Strength - 18 / Dexterity - 22
The Nagakiba combines innate Blood Loss with exceptional range and one of the most versatile movesets available to a Katana. Its base weapon has 45 Blood Loss buildup and can be customized with different affinities and Ashes of War.
This makes it excellent for both DEX/ARC and primarily Arcane builds. Blood affinity can prioritize Blood Loss buildup, while Occult allows an Arcane-focused character to retain its innate Bleed while improving raw Physical damage.
Its flexibility makes Nagakiba one of the safest weapons around which to build an entire Bleed character.
Location: Obtained through Bloody Finger Hunter Yura's questline, or from his dropped Nagakiba depending on quest progression.
Scavenger's Curved Sword — Best Occult Curved Sword

Requirements: Strength - 9 / Dexterity - 14
Scavenger's Curved Sword is particularly valuable because it combines the fast Curved Sword moveset with innate Blood Loss while remaining fully infusible.
This makes Occult affinity particularly attractive on an Arcane-focused build, allowing Arcane to improve its Physical damage while also scaling the weapon's existing Blood Loss.
Powerstanced Curved Swords have extremely strong multi-hit attacks, making them particularly effective at applying status effects when built correctly.
Location: Found on Mt. Gelmir near the Grafted Scion.
Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear — Best Bleed AoE Weapon

Requirements: Strength - 24 / Dexterity - 14 / Arcane - 27
Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear offers something most Bleed weapons don't: enormous area-of-effect pressure.
Its Unique Skill, Bloodboon Ritual, repeatedly damages enemies across a large area while inflicting Blood Loss before buffing the weapon with Bloodflame. Its Great Spear moveset also provides excellent reach outside of the Skill.
The high Arcane requirement fits naturally into an Arcane-focused build, although its Strength requirement requires some additional investment.
Location: Obtained by trading the Remembrance of the Blood Lord after defeating Mohg, Lord of Blood.
Reduvia — Best Arcane Dagger

Requirements: Strength - 5 / Dexterity - 13 / Arcane - 13
Reduvia deserves to appear again because, unlike many early-game weapons, it remains highly effective on a finished Arcane build.
Its Blood Loss buildup scales with Arcane, and Reduvia Blood Blade provides safe ranged Bleed pressure. When used at close range, the physical dagger slash and projectile can both hit, resulting in extremely high buildup from a fast weapon.
Its combination of low weight, speed, ranged pressure, and Arcane scaling makes it one of the strongest dedicated Bleed sidearms in the game.
Bloody Helice — Best Defensive Bleed Weapon

Requirements: Strength - 16 / Dexterity - 19 / Arcane - 17
Bloody Helice is an excellent option for players who prefer a more deliberate Bleed playstyle.
Its Heavy Thrusting Sword moveset provides excellent range and Pierce damage, while Dynast's Finesse performs an evasive retreat that can transition into powerful counterattacks.
Rather than overwhelming enemies with constant multi-hit attacks, Bloody Helice rewards timing, spacing, and counterattacking while still benefiting strongly from Arcane.
Location: Found in the Writheblood Ruins in Altus Plateau.
Great Katana — Best DLC Customizable Bleed Weapon

Requirements: Strength - 14 / Dexterity - 18
The Great Katana combines significantly greater reach and damage per hit than standard Katanas with innate Blood Loss buildup.
Because it remains fully infusible, it can support Blood or Occult affinity depending on whether your build prioritizes status buildup or Arcane-based Physical damage.
Its slower attacks mean it won't build Bleed as rapidly as Claws or Twinblades, but its superior range, strong individual hits, and flexible Ash of War selection make it an excellent DLC option.
Location: Found in Gravesite Plain near the Ghostflame Dragon.
Honorable Mentions
- Godskin Peeler — An excellent Twinblade that becomes a powerful Bleed weapon with Blood affinity. Its fast two-handed and jumping attacks make it particularly good at status buildup.
- Bandit's Curved Sword — Has no innate Bleed, but Blood affinity turns it into an excellent powerstanced Bleed weapon with high damage and strong multi-hit attacks.
- Morgott's Cursed Sword — A strong DEX/ARC Curved Greatsword with innate Blood Loss and the aggressive Cursed-Blood Slice Skill.
- Raptor Talons — Fast Claws with innate Bleed and a unique Heavy Attack, making them excellent for aggressive status-focused builds.
- Star Fist — Combines innate Blood Loss with exceptionally fast charged Heavy Attacks and tremendous stance damage. It is stronger as an overall PvE weapon than its placement here might suggest, but Bleed isn't its sole defining feature.
- Bloodhound's Fang — Remains one of the strongest general PvE weapons and has innate Blood Loss, but because Arcane cannot scale its Bleed buildup, it fits a dedicated Bleed/Arcane guide less naturally than the main recommendations.
