Krao Cave Hard features three bosses: Enhanced Harcon, Neglected Gadioton and Ultimate Berk. The first two encounters focus on avoiding clear attack telegraphs, while the final boss demands careful positioning, quick movement and a coordinated stagger check.
This guide covers the route between bosses, the main attacks to watch for and how each party member can help keep the final encounter under control.

For help preparing your equipment, our Aion 2 gear score guide covers upgrades that improve your item level.
Enhanced Harcon uses several straightforward attacks that you can avoid by watching the ground telegraphs. Move out of the marked areas and use the openings between attacks to deal damage.
Pay particular attention to two hazards:
Mines: Avoid stepping on the mines scattered around the arena.
Beam attack: Move out of its path, as getting caught can deal heavy damage.
After defeating Harcon, backtracking along the route you entered from can help you reach the second boss without pulling unnecessary enemies.
The tank should pick up any loose monsters along the way. Their attacks can deal significant damage to teammates who draw their attention.
Second Boss: Neglected Gadioton
Neglected Gadioton also uses mines and a damaging beam, so continue watching your footing and moving out of marked attacks.
The main additional mechanic is a party-wide pull. When the boss drags everyone towards it, be ready to dodge immediately.
Watch for the fire puddle AoE as well. Move out as soon as it appears and avoid standing in it while attacking.
Once the boss is defeated, continue into the final room, eliminate the gatekeeper and use the Wind Stream to reach Ultimate Berk.
Final Boss: Ultimate Berk
Ultimate Berk puts particular pressure on the tank, but everyone needs to react quickly to his larger mechanics.
Before starting the fight, prepare the following:
Running Scroll: Helps you reach safe positions and escape dangerous attacks.
Stamina food: Gives you more Stamina for dodging during movement-heavy mechanics.
Healing Potions: Keep these on your hotbar to remove harmful status effects.
Our Aion 2 potions guide explains where to obtain cleansing and HP recovery items.
Berk opens with heavy basic attacks. The tank should sidestep, block or perfect dodge these hits while keeping the boss’s attention.
He then dashes across the arena and can follow up with a second dash back towards the tank. Stay ready for the return charge, even if he does not perform it on every attempt.
Move Behind Berk for the Three-Hit AoE
After the opening sequence, Berk performs more basic attacks before preparing a large three-hit AoE combo.
Everyone except the tank should position directly behind the boss before this mechanic begins.
The tank should stay close to Berk and prepare to move around him. As soon as the first ground telegraph appears, the attack’s direction is locked in. Move behind him immediately to escape its area.
There are three attacks in total. Use the same approach for each hit, checking the next telegraph and repositioning behind the boss as needed.
If you are caught in a poor position, a perfect dodge can save you. Time the dodge immediately after the ground telegraph finishes filling.
Lead the Spinning Attack Away From Your Party
The three-hit AoE combo is followed by a dangerous spinning attack that pursues the tank.
As soon as the tank finishes avoiding the third hit, they should start moving away from their teammates. Keep the boss’s path clear of the rest of the party while escaping the spin.
Other players should give the tank room and stay out of Berk’s route. This attack can deal lethal damage quickly, so prepare for it before the spinning animation begins.
Hide Behind the Glowing Rock
After the spinning sequence, Berk jumps into the middle of the arena and summons four rocks.
In Hard mode, only the glowing rock provides safe cover. Find it immediately and position yourself behind it, with the rock between you and the boss.
Stop attacking early enough to reach the safe position. Running Scrolls help with the movement, while extra Stamina gives you more dodges if you need to cross the arena quickly.
Stay behind the glowing rock until the attack has resolved. Reaching one of the other rocks will not protect you from this mechanic.
Clear the Spinning Adds
Spinning enemies appear as the fight progresses. Killing them is not required to complete the encounter, but clearing them reduces the number of hazards you need to manage later.
When positioning allows, the tank can bring Berk close to these enemies so the party can damage the boss and the adds together.
Avoid letting them accumulate while the larger mechanics begin overlapping. A clearer arena makes it easier to move between safe positions.
Expect a Mechanic After Every Jump
Later in the encounter, Berk repeatedly jumps onto a random player. Treat every jump as a warning that another mechanic is coming immediately afterwards.
Avoid the landing attack, then watch for the follow-up:
Spinning attack: Move away quickly and keep its path clear of teammates.
Directional AoEs: Watch the straight and diagonal attack patterns, then dodge out of the marked areas.
Large arena AoE: Find the glowing rock and take cover behind it.
Stay ready after each landing so you can identify the next attack before committing to more damage.
Stagger Berk During Extinction for Eternity
At around 50% HP, Berk begins casting Extinction for Eternity. Comets fall into the arena while the party must stagger him before the cast finishes.
Use your skills that deal additional stagger damage as soon as the check begins. Review your skill setup before entering so you have suitable abilities available for this moment.
Keep avoiding the falling comets while contributing to the stagger check. Failing to stagger Berk in time wipes the party, so everyone should help resolve it quickly.
After this phase, the boss repeats his earlier mechanics with more overlap. Continue watching for jump follow-ups, keep the spinning attack away from teammates and move to the glowing rock whenever the cover mechanic returns.
