The Dancer of the Boreal Valley is a returning boss from Dark Souls 3, appearing as a Night Boss in Elden Ring Nightreign. This swift swordstress has multi-attack combos that cover a wide area as she moves fairly quick, and will prove a challenge for both melee and ranged users. The fight has two distinct phases.
In Phase 1, the Boss won’t be too aggressive, attacking players nearby. Most of her attacks can be read and either rolled or blocked if you stand on her right side, and the Dancer has enough recovery frames to land one or two quick attacks. Try not to overcommit, as she can chain moves or start new attacks swiftly.
When she drops below half HP, the Dancer will summon a second sword, making her attacks faster and her combos longer. The fight now revolves around waiting for her attacks to finish and then dealing as much damage as you can quickly. Absolutely avoid standing near her when she’s attacking, as it can prove fatal. The Dancer can reach ranged players with ease, so run around the arena to ensure your safety when needed.
