WEAPONS
In general for Tediore Throws, you're looking for the highest base damage + mag size combination you can find.
- There's an different situation, where you can look for highest base damage at any cost to mag size, meaning you spend less ammo on reloads. Especially useful for mobbing and general ammo conservation.
- An example is going for a Torgue (Impact Mag) on your
Ruby's Grasp rather than simply the biggest normal mag.
- Keep in mind there's part locks on some guns, so it's not so clear-cut what you can get without outside knowledge or going through many, many drops.
- The 'Mirv' and 'Legs' variants are pretty meh reload modifiers.
Mobbing and Multi-target Weapons
These are weapons you'll want to basically spam during mobbing.
Ruby's Grasp
The King. Big damage, multi-hits and homing. Effortless mobbing, and it can even kill bosses if you're that lazy. Bossing damage falls off against truly tanky bosses, but it can handle just about anything otherwise.
- Can roll Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) Mode Switches, meaning it can be used with different ammo pools for maximum flexibility. Pait that with Torgue (Impact Mag) and you get a lot more ammo efficiency from your reloads.
- 'SMG Mode' has an excellent pool for mobbing, as does 'Assault Rifle'.
Chuck
Overall worse than
Ruby's Grasp, but it still has a place due to being fun, having different reload types and good ammo efficiency.
- 'Replicator Homing', 'Replicator Javelin' and non-replicator variants of the same type: they are all very good and situationally better than each other.
- The default
Chuck variant without extra reload modifiers is also very nice and has a little more damage than the others. It can be a decent choice for things like breaking Bloomreaper Crystals without wasting too much ammo, or if you're feeling like going more traditional.
Mercurious
Vladof SMG
Extremely tertiary choices, but
Mercurious,
Birt's Bees and other
Vladof SMG (including purples) can be fine to have as a backup ammo pool in case you don't have access to more ammo pools on your
Ruby's Grasp.
- For maximum output, you want the 'Shooting' or 'Shooting Replicator' variants.
- If you prefer other reload types, it's fine and they will work well. However, do keep in mind you'll be missing out on the 3x Gun Damage from the above reloads.
Single Target Weapons
These are weapons you'll want to chuck at bosses or strong enemies like badasses/mini-bosses that warrant it.
Laser Disker
Overall best option for Tediore bossing at the moment. The legendary effect also comes in handy in various fights.
Always drops elemental, which makes it easier to find variants to cover all matchups.
- For maximum output, you want the 'Shooting' or 'Shooting Replicator' variants.
- If you prefer other reload types, it's fine and they will work well. However, do keep in mind you'll be missing out on the 3x Gun Damage from the above reloads.
- Can roll Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) Mode Switches, meaning it can be used with different ammo pools for ammo efficiency, especially during prolonged fights.
- 'SMG Mode' has a deep pool, followed by 'Pistol Mode'.
- The 'Sniper Mode' can achieve the absolute highest chuck damage, but you'll basically only get one throw out of it. That can be enough for Vex against most bosses.
- The highest reload damage comes from having Ripper (Charge Mag) + Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) Sniper Mode, but the only real application this has are funny boss one-shots or as a fight opener.
Eigenburst
- Currently afflicted by the Shotgun bug, so ignore it as an option for now.
Very competitive chuck damage for bossing. It can even outdamage
Laser Disker if facing grounded targets. The legendary effect doesn't really matter.
- For maximum output, you want the 'Shooting' or 'Shooting Replicator' variants.
- If you prefer other reload types, it's fine and they will work well. However, do keep in mind you'll be missing out on the 3x Gun Damage from the above reloads.
- Can roll Daedalus (Underbarrel/Multi-Loader) Mode Switches, meaning it can be used with different ammo pools for maximum flexibility.
- 'SMG Mode' has a deep pool, as does 'Assault Rifle'.
- This does reduce the total damage of a chuck, since the weapon loses one projectile. Still not terrible to have a version with it because the deeper pool allows more flexibility.
Inscriber
One of the strongest Tediore reloads in the game, with very high potential. Also works as an alternate ammo pool for mobbing.
- The Torgue (Impact Mag) rolls have the highest base damage but a lower potential mag size. They're very nice for ammo conservation, and can work very well for bossing anyway.
Hair Trigger
The
Hair Trigger has a bit of a (easy) learning curve since you have to hold the button for a bit before throwing so you don't end up killing yourself, but otherwise it can have pretty nice chuck damage.
Assuming perfect parts, it doesn't compete with
Laser Disker too well, since comparatively it has a worse ammo pool and a bit worse chuck damage.
- For maximum output, you want the 'Shooting' variant.
T.K's Wave
- Currently afflicted by the Shotgun bug, so ignore it as an option for now.
Very fun option for chucking, but getting the best parts for it is a pain.
- Atlas (Dart Underbarrel) or Atlas (Grenade Underbarrel), alongside Tediore (Shooting Thrown Gun) is a very nice roll. The Atlas tracker works on the shots fired by the reloaded gun.
Anarchy
Husky Friend
Tediore Shotgun
- Currently afflicted by the Shotgun bug, so ignore these as an option for now.
The
Anarchy can be tediously pre-stacked to then be used for a singular, massive chuck.
The
Husky Friend and EZ-Blast
Tediore Shotgun are nice options for big chucks.
- For maximum output, you want the 'Shooting' or 'Shooting Replicator' variants.
- If you prefer other reload types, it's fine and they will work well. However, do keep in mind you'll be missing out on the 3x Gun Damage from the above reloads.
Murmur
Divided Focus
Rowan's Charge
Murmur is yet another of the strongest tediore reloads in the game, but it's not really farmable and loses out against the better options.
Divided Focus is a decent choice.
Rowan's Charge is a more than adequate replacement that can roll Tediore licenses.
REPKIT
Order Repkit ,
Triple Bypass and
AF1000 are the favored Repkit choices.
Look for these effects, or combinations of them if applicable:
- Enrage (Experimental)
- Reload Speed (Dextrous)
- Elemental Affinity (Reactive)
- Accelarator (Adrenalized)
- Go Go Gadget (Nootropic)
- Note: 'Leech' (Lifesteal) Repkits do not apply to
Blood Is Power.
ORDNANCE
'Crit Knife'
Jakobs Grenade
- Main choice for bossing due to the inescapable DPS increase and
Mortal Terror synergy.
Lingering + Exacting Grenades and Artillery + Ricochet Grenades
- Can be helpful for
Mortal Terror and very fun for mobbing.
CLASS MOD
Stat rolls to look out for on any class mod are:
- Gun Damage
- Gun Crit Chance
- Skill Damage
- Skill Crit Chance
- Reload Speed
My favorite class mod for this setup, even if not always the best. It is able to provide a nice damage boost, alongside massive utility. Perfect for mobbing and more than enough for bossing.
- +5
Grave Implements; +1
Infusion and +1
Overprotective - +5
Infusion; +2
Grave Implements - All of these options are very nice rolls. The important thing to note here is that
Infusion is one additional source of
Mortal Terror procs, making the Specters super consistent at triggering 6 kill skill stacks for us. - Conversely, this also means you have another damage source eating up your bleed stacks, which can become a problem unless gearbox ever lets minions have their own bleeds or allows us toggle the ability for minions to trigger bleeds. You can try a roll without
Infusion if that ends up bothering you too much.
Extremely high bossing peaks can be achieved with this. The only caveat it runs into is the fact Specters can override your strong bleeds. The mobbing performance is acceptable, however we care much less about bleed ticks while mobbing, so it doesn't really justify itself.
- +5
Bloodletter; + Any
Overall safe pick and farmable. Works for all scenarios and provides further sustain to both Minions and Vex.
- +2
Grave Thirst; +5
Conjunction
Corporeal is also not a bad roll. Try to have at least +1
Grave Thirst so the minions can benefit from it.
Illusionist
Fun to mess around with and is actually decently strong. The Badass Phase Clones won't matter too much, apart from the fact they're more tanky and will last longer.
- +5
Prismatic Weaponry; +2
Sanguine Fiends
Avatar
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
- +5
Shocking Attunement; +2
Burning Attunement
SHIELD
Watts 4 Dinner
Best pick for maximum impact damage without bad attached conditionals.
However, this can make you run into bleed overrides due to the 20 stack cap even easier because of the Bonus Shock. Consider trying the other options below.
- x2 Siphon, or Siphon + Vagabond.
Collector,
Hopscotch or
Cindershelly
Great defensive options.
Firewerks
Supreme choice for mobbing, speeds up clear times significantly.
- Get additional Missile Swarm parts for maximum power.
Protean Cell
Has very high peaks due to its bonus shock also applying itself to DoTs (
Bloodletter in our case), but needs playing around its activation mechanic. It's nice for quick boss melts.
Teen Witch makes the drain mechanic irrelevant, however you will still be at risk of being one-shot, and any health damage will turn off
Blood Is Power until you heal back to full.
ENHANCEMENT
Stat rolls to look out for on any enhancement are:
- Gun Damage
- Gun Type Damage
- Gun Mag Size
- Gun Type Mag Size
- Reload Speed
Hydrator
Tediore Enhancement
- Very nice bossing option. Works for general use too.
- The damage increase from Digi-Divider gets less relevant on the 'Replicator' reload weapons. However, since we have
Bloodletter and other stacking skills, it is still very useful there.
Quencher; Recycler
Tediore Enhancement
- Nice for mobbing and ammo conservation. It works for bossing too, just has less offensive power but more ammo sustain.
- Recycler actually lets you continue to throw weapons even if your ammo reserve is empty.
Banger
Tediore Enhancement
- Has access to three stat rolls and is simply a great damage boost. In terms of consistency, this one can be king if you find a nicely-rolled version.
Hydrator may have higher peaks, but it's a wholly mixed situation that depends on many factors. Simply go for the best you find of the two.
