AmonI'm retiring this build the drones suck
Haven't gotten a chance to play Amon so it's hard to gauge what the actual best build will be for him for leveling, but you get access to the drones 
Tempered Pyre 
Twin Tempers pretty early on which scale off of melee damage and they just fly around auto attacking everything so it seems like the safest bet for leveling. 
Crucible is also just sick. This build won't have any gun damage scaling at all, so you're mostly relying on the drones

The Best Defense
I am unsure at this time if Discombobulate works for the forge drones. I don't see why it wouldn't but if it doesn't I'll update the tree post launch, if you recognize that it doesn't then feel free to move the points. 
Impetus would be good and is a strong option regardless if you want some movement speed.
If defense feels lacking feel free to opt for The Best Defense earlier on into the build.
Gear to look out for while leveling:
Penetrator Augment which comes on Throwing Knives is EXTREMELY powerful for beefy enemies
Damage Amp Payload is also potent on Throwing Knives
Guns: Probably look for a shock weapon since that's the only damage scaling we have that will apply to your guns
List of strong weapons (will update as I'm playing)
Underbarrel Attachments: Spread Launcher, Knife Launcher, Taser and Shotgun
Repkits: 200% Amp, Lifesteal, & Movement Speed are likely the best options for smooth leveling.
Gameplay
Use Crucible to your hearts content, the fire axe seems to be best for cooldown uptime. If you see your drones are about to run out of duration, that's when you want to use your forge skill to refresh their duration. Otherwise seems pretty brain-off.
