Build Overview

The First ever Drone Rafa Build™

Drone Defense and Drone Assault are some of the most underratedRafa skills.

Considering that Drone Assault Damage bases its damage off of Drone Defense Health, the drones have pretty high base damage (~30k at 5/5 Drone Defense at LVL50, ~63K at 10/5 Drone Defense).

There's even more scaling with The Right Tools, Confeti,... since the drone damage source is Skill Ordnance Damage.

I have even found a method on how you can spam Drone Assault and Drone Defense consistently:

Bind your action skill button and your ordnance button to the same key
Make sure to use Peacebreaker Cannons with Bullet-Buddy Deluxe
Equip a gun in its alt-fire mode (Element Switch and Stickies don't work here)
Equip a Heavy Ordnance (any will work)
Start spamming the key you binded your action skill and ordnance to

Drone Defense also provides you with a ton of survivalbility (it heals you for 40% of the damage taken at 5/5, 80% at 10/5)

This is the perfect build if you want to play something new, fresh, unique while also doing respectable damage.

For the guns, look for ones with an Alt-Fire Mode (stickies and element switch doesn't work) and try to get one of each element for Confeti, avoid any gun with Ripper or COV part.

For the repkit, use any repkit with the Accelerator part on it, 2 Charges part is also good for Now With Caffeine.

For the ordnance, only use Heavy when Drone Striking (because they can proc Drone Defense fast), use the Firepot if you're struggling with some bosses.

For the COM, a Purple Demolition COM with as much point as possible into Drone Defense is the best for this build. Instigator can also work well as an alternative for the Purple Demolition. Use Filántropo if you're bossing with the Firepot.

We're using Timekeeper's New Shield for the most survivability

(Drone Defense healing works with health but not with shield)

The enhancement is kinda useless for this build, the only stat you want to get is Gun Equip Speed.

Bullet Train is so that you can stack The Right Tools more comfortably

You can swap out Now With Caffeine for I Am A Gun (for more skill damage)

Gameplay

For both mobbing and bossing:

You'd want to bind your Fire Gun Button, Reload, Melee to the same key then spam that key while your gun is in its normal mode to stack The Right Tools fast.

Once you get to the max stack, switch gun mode and spam the other key that you have binded your action skill and ordnance to earlier while also maintaining eye contact toward the enemies you want to drone strike.

Notes

WARNING: Drone Assault is very buggy at the moment, sometimes the drone get stuck and doesn't do damage at all. You can somewhat avoid this by being aware of your drone location and avoid obstacles.
