Build Overview

This build is focused all around Tediore Chucks doing damage. This hits very hard and because of ammo weighting and multiple weapon types we can easily keep up our ammo. This ends up being similar to my Aim On build with the skill tree, some gear, and bossing strategy. But it's enough of a gameplay and weapon change for it to be it's own thing.

This build does MASSIVE DAMAGE with seeing over 1 MILLION DAMAGE CHUCKS not even including Force of Nature Detonations nor Raging Inferno DoTs

This build is only possible because of JoeForLong's Tediore Testing (he also let me use this build name). Check out his Rafa build write up and video. It's very informative even if you don't plan on playing Rafa. Some parts of this write up is taken from his write up (with permission)

Action Skill:

Onslaughter - fire bonus element to apply to tediores. Movement speed to boost Bullet Train. The main reason for Onslaughter though is for the Augment. The shield recharge also just recharges armor which is awesome.

Force of Nature - Double dipping explosion that can hit for MILLIONS OF DAMAGE based on the last 10 STRONGEST hits on the enemy. Huge for bossing

Pyroclast - can be used for mobbing to sometimes get back some action skill cooldown. Since your chucks have big splash radius you do not have good uptime on this BUT if Firewerks gets a kill when you are close to an enemy you get a stack

Hoarcleave - Ranged method for detonating enemies. The freezing doesn't do much here.

Red Tree:

Impetus - movement speed for Bullet Train

What Burns Within - boost Onslaughter and Force of Nature

Gut Punch - double dips into Force of Nature

Tritanium Knuckles - skill damage applies to Force of Nature,Berserk, and Bolt Action

Bullet Storm - easy gun damage

Forged In Steel - nice immunity whenever we activate Hoarcleave

Bloodlust - Reload speed for Tediore DPS. Lifesteal is nice

Berserk - Bonus element applies to Tediores and Slippy. This is a key skill

There Is Only Red - Increase bonus element up to 210% Bonus Cryo

My Touch Is Death - activates There Is Only Red easily and other kill skills

Blue Tree:

The Thrill - easy survivability skill

Scorched Kairos - Magazine size boost is a PURE MULT for our chucks. The ordnance damage will boost Slippy which can be nice for doing damage

Green Tree:

Get The Lead Out - Reload speed = faster chucking

Bolt Action - applies to Tediore chuck

Guns:

For more indepth Tediore knowledge check out JoeForLong's Tediore Rafa Build Write Up

PARTS ARE VERY IMPORTANT - look for as high mag size possible (prioritize over base damage) for the best bossing experience. For mobbing you can use lower mag size guns for less ammo consumption

Get the Tediore (Shooting Thrown Gun) part as it gets 3 TIMES GUN DAMAGE STAT on the reload. This only works for soup gun damage. Can also use Replicator + Shooting part but can be harder to hit both projectiles.

Inscriber - NEW DLC PISTOL. INSANELY high damage which makes it a go to for bossing

Murmur - HALLOWEEN EVENT AR. Also VERY high damage which is also great for bossing but cannot be obtained easily in game anymore (only for World Boss chests). Look for some in community discords trading channels.

Chuck - get w/ Homing + Replicator part. Insanely good for mobbing with a naturally low mag size and easy spam. Also works great in bossing

Ruby's Grasp - always homing which makes it great for mobbing. Usually want to stand farther away from enemies to give the drones time to start homing. Can get w/ Daedalus Sniper Mode part for a nice damage boost which would really only help in bossing. SMG Mode can be nice as well for the untapped ammo reserves

Tediore Pistol - great damage but "weaker" than Inscriber

Tediore AR - amazing for bossing and mobbing especially if you do not have a Murmur

Tediore Shotgun - CURRENTLY BUGGED. The multiple projectiles on shotguns are not scaling correctly but when it's working right it's AMAZING for bossing. Go for as high projectiles and mag size as possible.

NON TEDIORE MANUFACTURER GUNS - there are definitely some guns out there that work well with a Tediore Licensed Part but I have not experimented with those yet so go wild!

Ordnance:

Slippy - proc My Touch Is Death for various kill skills

Shield:

Firewerks - Go to for mobbing. This shield getting kills means less times you have to chuck so less times you have to search for ammo boxes. Benefits from Berserk bonus element

Watts 4 Dinner - Go to for bossing. Shock bonus element to help for shielded enemies. Also the constant overshield is great for survivability. Get Siphon part for even better survivability. Great for shock bosses.

Protean Cell - technically the optimal bossing shield. But the extra damage isn't needed for the trade off of being a glass cannon.

Repkit:

Triple Bypass - multiple charges for Now With Caffeine and just healing when needed. I usually go Action Skill Cooldown part but you could also go Splash, Elemental, Damage Dealt boosts as well, especially for bossing.

Class Mod:

Passives to look for: Splash, Gun, Elemental, Element Type, Damage Dealt

Shatterwight - for more points in Berserk which is HUGE DAMAGE and allows for not needing to use Force of Nature most of the time in bossing.

Stormcaller - w/ points in either Lightning Rod or Bolt Action for better shock damage

Forge Master - Allows for better Forgeskill uptime which is very important for detonating Force of Nature. Points in Smelter is a MUST HAVE.

Furnace - points in Raging Inferno for proccing off of Force of Nature. This leads to a TRIPLE DIP. Not actually needed right now as we have enough damage w/ Shatterwight but it does exist (and will prob be amazing for the upcoming raid boss)

Enhancement:

Passives to look out for: Gun Damage, Weapon Type Damage, Gun Mag Size, Weapon Type Mag Size

These enhancements are assuming you are using a Purple Enhancement as getting Legendary ones are so hard to get.

Banger - 50% damage boost which is a PURE MULT only additive with Get Throwin. go to for bossing

Recycler - Restores part of ammo thrown. can be fun for mobbing. Less damage but less ammo consumption

Replicator - 50% chance to spawn another projectile on reload. Another projectile CAN be more damage but relies on both projectiles hitting the enemy

Bossing:

2/3 High Caliber - The gun damage is only additive with enhancement gun damage so besides that this is a PURE MULT

2/3 Bullets to Spare - going for the magazine size. Mag size boosts are a PURE MULT

1/3 Get Throwin - That 10% is a PURE MULT (only additive with Banger enhancement) for tediore chucks. Tediore Chucks don't benefit from ordnance damage (at least the chucks that matter)

Mobbing:

2/3 Get Throwin - get the damage boost AND splash radius

1/3 Airstrike - splash radius is GOOD

2/3 High Caliber - For the damage boost once again

Mobbing version is optional and just let's your explosion radius be higher as well as consume less ammo.

Specialization

Specialization 1Now With Caffeine
Specialization 2Bullet Train
Specialization 3Riddle You This
Specialization 4I Am A Gun

Now With Caffeine - cycle Onslaughter better. Cuts down cooldown by 1/4 making it a MUST HAVE

I Am A Gun - THIS SKILL LIES. It is actually SKILL DAMAGE which means it buffs Berserk, Bolt Action, but most importantly Force of Nature.

Bullet Train - Gun damage to boost our Tediore chucks

Riddle You This - more gun damage for our Tediore chucks

The Best Defense - w/ enough Specialization points this is optimal for bossing over Now With Caffeine but not needed.

Gameplay

Activate your Forge Skill to start Berserk

Throw Slippy for to get kill skills like There Is Only Red

Activate Onslaughter

Throw your Tediores at enemies.

Watch your ammo and go to ammo boxes when needed.

For Bossing you do the same thing except ammo boxes aren't really around but they aren't needed. It can be smart to use your Forge Skill as the last step before chucking as to have immunity via Forged In Steel so you don't accidently blow yourself up from your own damage

For Bossing w/ Forge Master: while Onslaughter is active you will be stacking Force of Nature. Even if you get to 10 stacks you may not have good damage on those stacks so do a few more chucks for stronger stacks. Then activate your Forge Skill again
