How Drop Rates Work
Before you read the table below, it's important to know how drops in the game work. When you kill a boss, the data is tied to an attribute which looks at the base rate for the drop without UVH turned on, and then any additional added %s for your current UVH Level.
The only outlier to this rule are RAID BOSSES who use their own unique tables. I have those outlined also.
Another outlier is Big Encore Bosses. In a general sense, any drops from a Big Encore Boss will always have a drop chance of 30%
Shiny Items will ALWAYS share the same drop rate of 0.3% (without UVH active), unless the boss you kill is a Big Encore Boss, at which point the rate becomes 1.5%
Moxxi Items work a little differently, and as such we have a separate table for those items near the bottom of this page.
The complete list of items can be found below. Please note that any duplicate entries in numerous tables means that the drop has numerous sources. At this time, we believe this to be unintentional.
How UVH Levels Affect Rates
Before reading the table below, it is important to note that on January 29th, 2026 - Gearbox made a change to Borderlands 4 in which almost all rates are scaled depending on your UVH level.
For example, if the bod has a 9% drop chance but you are playing on UVH Level 7, your actual dedicated drop chance is now going to be 23%
NOTE: As of this time, Big Encore & Big Encore Shiny drop chances are not affected by these boosts
