Task Manager

In a world where IHATEYOU + Devourer exists, Bash Script is left behind in the off-meta box.

However, it excels at one thing: it is damn fun to play with!

Task Manager is a build centered around Bash Script, Grenade Spam, Melee Attacks and Status Spreading. We maximize hit rate, crit chance and the amount of damage instances to reach as many semi-passive triggers as possible of Bash Script, while also weaving in Empowered Melees.

Build Variants

Grenade spam variant.

Weaving in melee attacks is still important due to Hard Reset and Groundbreaker.

Note

For this variant, you NEED +1 Corrupted Path on your Puppetmaster Class Mod (more than +1 doesn't matter).

If your Puppetmaster Class Mod doesn't have it, then take a point from Blue Tree to use it there.

Action Skill Visual Paradox Nexus

Bash Script

Through our many damage instances and high crit chance, we can trigger this augment a lot. It doesn't have the best of damage and could honestly use a buff, but we still make it work decently.

Notes on VPN Visual Paradox Nexus

Grants 25% Crit Damage while VPN is Active.
Grants 50% All Damage while in Stealth.
- This boost is not listed in the Action Skill description.

WEAPONS

Maliwan Shotgun

Beam Tosser Underbarrels, covering all elemental bases: Fire, Corrosive, Radiation/Shock.

These are essential for both mobbing and bossing damage.

When mobbing, holding a Beam Tosser will provide a lot of additional damage to our Artillery + Ricochet Waterfall grenades through Toile/Mixologist. The Transfuser effect will transfer Gun Card Statuses to other enemies when any kill happens, through any methods.
When bossing, the Beam Tosser itself can be shot to inflict very high damage Status Effects on the enemy, which can then be detonated through Devourer.

Devourer

Absurd weapon. The Status Effect Detonation has an incredibly powerful formula, making it excellent when paired with Beam Tossers.

Ideally, have one for each elemental base: Fire, Corrosive, Radiation/Shock.

REPKIT

Font of Life, War Paint and Order Repkit.

Look for these effects:

Go Go Gadget (Nootropic)
Amp (Amplified)
Elemental Affinity (Reactive)

ORDNANCE

Waterfall

Radiation, Corrosive and Fire are the most relevant elements to have variants of on your Waterfall grenades.

Artillery + Ricochet + Nuke/Express
- The Ricochets are considered Gun Damage and will therefore benefit from Mixologist.

Puppetmaster

Access to Corrupted Path gives us another new source of Mixologist and Bash Script triggers.

+3 Merry Bandwidth; +1 Corrupted Path; +3 Overclock or Critically Acclaimed

SHIELD

Watts 4 Dinner

Siphon. The Bonus Shock Damage counts as a new instance for Mixologist and Bash Script triggers.
- Amp is also a valid choice for bossing.

ENHANCEMENT

Stat Rolls to look out for on any Enhancement:

Gun Damage
Shotgun Damage / Gun Type Damage
- These boosts apply to the Mixologist Damage riding on our Gun Damage instances.

Toile Maliwan Enhancement

Overall best choice for the build, providing two desirable effects for interactions with Bash Script, Statuses and the Artillery + Ricochet Grenades.
An Epic Rarity Mixologist Maliwan Enhancement is also fine if you don't have a good Toile.

Mobbing

Hold a Maliwan Shotgun in Beam Tosser Mode.
Activate Visual Paradox Nexus.
Throw your Waterfall grenades into groups of enemies.
Use Function: Kusarigama to throw another free grenade.
Use Empowered Melee vs. tougher enemies who may not die as quickly to the grenades. Also use it in general to trigger Hard Reset.
Repeat.

Bossing

Two approaches.

Method 1: Simpler

Throw grenades to take care of adds and to enable When it Rains.
Repkit for boosts and/or Amp.
Shoot Beam Tossers at the boss.
Swap to Devourer of the relevant element.
Detonate the Beam Tosser DOT.
Finish off with Groundbreaker, if needed.

Method 2: High Data Rate

If RAM is full, Use Empowered Melee to trigger High Data Rate.
- Do NOT throws grenades in this case, as they will steal the HDR proc.
Repkit for boosts and/or Amp.
Shoot Beam Tossers at the boss, which will have a guaranteed DOT application.
Swap to Devourer of the relevant element.
Detonate the Beam Tosser DOT.
Finish off with Groundbreaker, if needed.

omg! thank you for posting this build. Grenade builds have always been my fav in bl games, so when I saw that loveless actually has skills attached to grenades I have been waiting to see a build suggestion for em

update:yuh i should have taken your warning seriously, all the gernades going off along with the melee overdrive stuff did make the game crash on xbox xD
