Mi Fu Build Guide

Mi Fu - Chen Qianyu - Pogranichnik - Lifeng

As a Vulnerable Consumer, Mi Fu is unlikely to share teams with Da Pan and Endministrator. If she's an upgrade over Endmin remains to be seen. Replacing Endmin also means Chen's DPS will drop since the team loses access to the Originium Crystal debuff. Lifeng value is still great on the team since Mi Fu's Phys Susceptibility is only 5%, which is mostly used to trigger her Combat Talent.

Mi Fu - Rossi - Camille - Chen Qianyu/Pogranichnik

Another attempt at an hybrid team, using Mi Fu to consume the vulnerable stacks applies by Rossi (and Chen, if used). Phys Susceptibility also increases Rossi's damage, and Rossi also applies Phys/Heat DMG Taken% on enemies.

The final slot could be used by Chen or Pogranichnik. Chen makes Crush happens more frequently, but Pog helps with even more SP Generation, can carry Thermite Cutter and breach increases both Mi Fu and Rossi's damage.

Mi Fu's Signature provide great stats for Mi Fu to boost her damage. Strength, ATK, Physical DMG and Arts Intensity. The conditions synergizes perfectly with her gameplay, making it easy to keep a good uptime on the stats. Similarly, Exemplar also synergizes wiith Mi Fu's gameplay and is a competitive option at higher refinements.

Both Phantom Pain and Ancient Canal provide similar stats, but since Phantom Pain is a 6-star weapon, it has a higher growth and damage potential than Ancient Canal.

General Use

The Grizzled Edge set adds a lot of extra damage for Mi Fu, and only requires applying Crush against enemies with Physical Susceptibility or Staggered. Ensure the enemy is under one of these effects before using her Skill 2, as you'll lose 9~12% Physical DMG%. Swordmancer Light Armor adds a bit of Ultimate Gain Efficiency for consistent rotations.

Swordmancer trades damage potential for higher stagger output. It's a great option for Stagger focused builds but the damage loss is noticeable. Since Mi Fu only Vulnerable application is her Ultimate, it's recommended to use the Swordmancer Light Armor over Swordmancer Heavy Armor. The Ultimate Gain Efficiency is much more valuable over a small increase on the stagger applied on her Lift.

0% Ultimate Gain (Recommended for Potential 4+)

If the Ultimate Gain Efficiency isn't needed, this combination of gear offers the highest Arts Intensity, Strength/Will and Physical DMG%.

Potential 1: Restless Watch

The first potential massively increases Mi Fu's utility by reducing her Combo Cooldown and increasing both the Susceptibility effect and duration.

Potential 2: Kinesthesia of Harmony

Great raw stats, nothing much to talk.

Potential 3: Complete Warmup

While this potential adds some damage potential to her second Combat Talent, the uptime on it is still low (45s CD, 20s duration)

Potential 4: Qi Thrice-Refined

The reduced Ultimate cost allows Mi Fu to completely drop Ultimate Gain Efficiency on her gear, so you can use Grizzled Edge Armor and replace one of the Grizzled Edge Push Knife with Swordmancer NAV Beacon.

Potential 5: Pugilist of the Stockade

Increased DMG Multipliers and Stagger without any changes on your rotation.

Mi Fu has an interesting kit that revolves around her Battle Skill and using teammates to stack 3 or more Vulnerable stacks on the enemy.

She has 3 different Battle Skills. The first is a gap-closer, which pulls enemies towards her or pulls Mi Fu toward a big enemy. Hitting someone unlocks the Skill 2, which applies Crush to enemies. If her Skill 2 consumed 3 or more Vulnerable stacks, she can use the Skill 3, which deals another instance of Crush damage, without the need of Vulnerable stacks on enemies.

Both her Combo and Ultimate links to her Skill 2, skipping the use of Skill 1. This allows you to:
