A SSF friendly bleed build to get you started for 3.27. Very tanky with decent clear. Using
Vaal Earthquake for clear and
Eviscerate for bossing. A very healthy balance to make up for weaknesses of both skill. The build is pretty much a walking simulator with
Vaal Earthquake.

Build Variants
Final Min-Maxed version of build, all of the gear has either been changed or upgraded to a better version in this update. Now the build easily handles hardest content path of exile has to offer, it face tanks most ubers and absolutely obliterates them and is even capable of deep delving now! As we now have reached the bleed cap, you wont be lacking damage while doing any content!
The only place where this build lacks is in blight encounters and "void" valdos maps, which you should not be attempting any ways!
Equipment




























All of the gear in build has either been changed or upgraded to a better version.
Lets start with the replacement of
Venopuncture ring with a rare synthesised ring which grants onslaught on hit which is a huge quality of life!
The other "Warlord influenced" ring has also been replaced with a rare synthesised ring which grants vulnerability on hit, making it much easier to craft the ring as the vulnerability modifier is always present in implicit on this synthesised ring.
The body armor has also been upgraded to a better version of
Conquest Lamellar which even gives us spell suppresion now and has far better implicits then it had previously. Make sure to have atleast 1 prefix open on armor to craft ailment avoidance chance.
Now we have also upgraded to a end game elder axe which boosts our damage by a crazy amount, you can check out the full axe crafting guide by following the link in build overview.
The shield we were using has also been changed to a shaper + crusader influence shield which now grants % life recover on block, spell suppresion, damage per block chance and still gives us lots of ailment avoidance. Preferred base for the shield should be
Crusader Buckler as the implicit gives us movement speed. Crafting a shield like this can be very hectic as the suffixes can only be done by recombinating double influenced shields several times, so i would suggest you just use a shaper influenced base only for % life recover on block and look for similar suffixes.
Gloves and Helmet have been also been upgraded as they both also provide spell suppresion now and have far better implicits then before. Prefered base for crafting are
Haunted Bascinet and
Wyvernscale Gauntlets.
Now for belt we are using a elder influenced
Stygian Vise as we can roll increased maximum life and global physical damage on it. This can be done by recombinating for prefixes. Then use veiled exalted orb to unveil a hybrid resistance suffix and beast craft level 30 aspect of the spider skill on belt using beast crafting, lastly craft whatever modifier you need. The main reason for using this specific base is that we are gonna use a small abyss jewel in it which will grant us phasing on kill, something which is extremely important for this build.
Lastly our rare amulet has also been replaced with
Stranglegasp, which can be anointed upto 4 times instead of just 1. Anoint
Sovereignty,
Charisma,
Safeguard and
Last Rites on it. Anointing
Last Rites is my personal choice and is not mandatory, so if you prefer you can anoint any other node you like!
For Grafts use
Spiking Uulgraft and
Hardening Uulgraft look for damage over time multiplier modifier on both of them.
Dont use
Battering Uulgraft as this will absolutely mess up your bossing!
For Tincture use Blood Sap Tincture with damage over time multiplier and reduced mana burn rate.
You might notice i m still using a
Divine Mana Flask in build, i have rolled enduring modifier on this flask which prevents it from turning off even when my mana is full. I use this flask to use the tincture much more comfortably without running out of mana all the time. If you dont wanna use this you can use a
Quartz Flask for permanent phasing while mapping or even
Soul Ripper for permanent uptime on your
Vaal Earthquake, aim to get 21 to 30 charges on flask.

Theres something which you cant see here and will only be visible in POB, that this build uses a weapon swap for bossing. In our weapon swap we use the new Bitter Instinct Shield, which allows us to use our retaliate skills
Eviscerate and
Crushing Fist without needing to block. And if you place these same skills in your weapon or shield in weapon swap they will activate and can even be supported by
Expert Retaliation Support for one instance of use.
So all you need to do is place Bitter Instinct along side a compatible weapon in your weapon swap and once your retaliate skill becomes active swap back to your main setup and use your retaliate skill.
Passive Tree
In this update i have added another 8 passive physical damage
Large Cluster Jewel to the build which also has
Master the Fundamentals and
Battle-Hardened.
I have also added new megalomaniac jewels to build which grant
Elegant Form,
Exploit Weakness,
Mortifying Aspect,
Enduring Composure,
Advance Guard ,
Master the Fundamentals.
Mortifying Aspect and
Master the Fundamentals are not mandatory nodes you they can be skipped or even replaced with any other node available.
The build now also uses two medium physical damage over time
Medium Cluster Jewel, both of them have
Flow of Life and
Wound Aggravation. If you want more damage instead of life you can consider replacing
Flow of Life with
Wasting Affliction. Make sure the jewel is only 4 or 5 passive so you can skip one node.
Place a
The Light of Meaning (Physical Damage) in jewel socket near
Stamina this will give lots of physical damage, as we allocated alot of nodes in that radius.
The forbidden flesh and flame jewels have also been replaced, now instead of
Inspirational they grant
Fortitude which is a huge defensive layer and i definitely recommend switching to it as we are already bleed capped on damage in build.
We are also using a Impossible Escape jewel for
Precise Technique to allocate
Entrench,
Thick Skin and
Freedom of Movement.
Lastly i have added a Watcher's Eye to build which grants increased physical damage while using pride and faster bleeding while using malevolence. You can even use a watcher's eye that grants damage over time multiplier instead of faster bleeding while using malevolence for a bit more damage but that that watcher's eye is much more expensive.
Skills





































The major change to gems in this update is that
Vaal Earthquake is longer supported by
Increased Area of Effect Support instead it now is supported by
Maim Support. Similarly
Crushing Fist no longer is supported by
Fortify Support or
Expert Retaliation Support
instead is now the part of same setup as
Vaal Earthquake.
Seismic Cry has been removed from the build and is replaced with
Enduring Cry.
Now that
Venopuncture has been removed form the build we use
Summon Skitterbots to inflict element ailments on our targets so we can aggravate bleeding using
The Tempest Rising
And to make sure we have enough mana reservation, i m using
Enlighten Support level 3 with
Pride,
Malevolence and
Summon Skitterbots.
