Build Overview

This build is a lot of fun, has a safe playstyle, and does insane poison damage!!

You can start with plants (Entangle & Thrashing Vines) the moment you get a staff or wand to use.
However, I recommend leveling with the "Starter" Poisonburst Arrow version with a Bow and Quiver until you take your first ascendancy Path Seeker (Sorceress)
Path Seeker allows you take the nodes at the starting point of the Sorceress, so you can begin taking spell caster/plant nodes and make the plants do much more damage and just generally fell smoother.

The build scales heavily off of gem levels. Each gem level adds a great deal of damage as spell skills have their flat damage applied directly to the gem, not the weapon you are using (Like Attack Builds). If you are unclear on how this works, please watch the build guide video attached for a detailed explanation.
We are looking for "+# to all Physical Spell Skill Gems" on our staff and "+# To All Spell Skill Gems" on our amulet.
Chaos Damage nodes DO NOTHING. Our Poison damage scales off of physical hits, not chaos. So no reason to scale it

The plants do not inherently poison, So YOU NEED to have 100% chance to poison
- You are looking for "Chance to Poison" or "Chance to inflict ailments" - Both work
- Can be found on the tree, jewels, support gems, and we get some from our gloves Snakebite
- Use Poison III Support if you don't have 100% through other means. The goal is to not use Poison III in endgame.

Mana can become a problem when scaling gem levels for damage, so we need to make sure we have some Mana rolls on our rings as well as Mana Regeneration.
- Can be found on the passive tree, jewels, and gear

To Start use an Evasion Body Armor with as much life and evasion you can.
Once you have corrupted you skill gems to get level 21 gems. Find a Sacrificial Regalia to get the +1 to Corrupted gems and get more damage

Again, raising the level of Entangle & Thrashing Vines is extremely important. I go over this more in detail in the video guide but I will put the basics here. Keep it mind as you are doing this, you can still upgrade corrupted gems to higher gems levels but cannot add sockets or quality
1. When you are ready for a Level 21 skill gem...
2. Use a lower level (>19) Uncut Skill Gem to create the skill gem you want to make level 21. **Don't use the skill gem you are currently using. DON'T USE Uncut Level 20 Skill Gems for this part!!
3. Add 4 Gemcutters Prisms for 20% Quality
4. Add a Perfect Jewellers Orb to add 5 Sockets
5. Corrupt with a Vaal Orb (Use omen if you want, I didn't)
If you succeeded, you will see "+1 Level from Corruption"
1. Socket the corrupted gem in & upgrade to a level 20 like you normally would.
If you failed....
1. Rinse and Repeat

Socket near Escape Velocity
1. You can use a Normal Rare Jewel or a Time-Lost Rare Jewel (Large Radius)
2. Possible Mod Options - Chance to inflict ailments/poison, Ailment/poison magnitude, Mana on kill, Duration of Ailments/poison, spell damage, Energy Shield, cast speed, mana regeneration.
Socket near Escalating Toxins (Right Side Tree)
1. "%2 Mana on Kill" jewel here
2. You can use a rare Sapphire or a Heart of the Well
Socket near Warding Fetish (Top Left of Tree)
1. From Nothing "Passives in radius of Scarred Faith..."
2. Allocate - Wasting Casts, Lasting Incantations, & Arcane Nature
Socket near Heart Tissue
1. Another rare jewel or a Megalomaniac
2. With Megalomaniac, just look for any passives that would be beneficial. Just have to search the market but can be very powerful
