Not finished setup with Liminal Coil, for this one waiting patchnotes
Theory
- Liminal Coil is newly added Wand based around applying multiple Curses. It grant Curses you inflict ignore Curse Limit, so you can apply all 5 currently available Curses.
- But, you wouldn't cast 5 curses manually one by one, so it has to be automated, and for that i suggest using
Cast on Critical with 4 Curses of lowest possible level, and
Blasphemy with
Despair since it's highest level curse that has highest Mana Cost - Reason to use
Blasphemy is that you always will have atleast 1 Curse on enemies, so that Coiling Bolts Spell from Liminal Coil Wand will Chain and Split, rather than having all 5 Curses on
Cast on Critical and having to Crit to Trigger Curse to only then get Chain and Split. - Liminal Coil also makes Curses you inflict have no effect, this means using
Shackles of the Wretched will reflect that 0% effect Curse you apply back to you, allowing to make use of
Warding Fetish to get 120% Increased Damage from 4 Curses applied manually, since Curse from
Blasphemy wouldn't work - And biggest part of Liminal Coil is gaining 25% of Damage as Extra Physical and Chaos Damage per Curse on target, which mean we getting 125% Extra Damage for each Physical and Chaos, huge amount
- So that's the base of this setup
Options
- Since you getting huge amount of Extra Physical and Chaos Damage, most obvious thing is going poison, which should be decent on Pathfinder, hopefully there will be more Poison related stuff for Poison because currently it's mainly Bows
- You can use Embitter to convert all that Extra Physical and Chaos Damage to Cold and play whatever caster build either stacking Cold Penetration or using Rakiata's Flow
- You can use Embitter once again to convert all damage to Cold on Blood Mage to use
Blood Barbs and go Bleed with Spells
Issues
- Currently there's lack of things that grant you something for being Cursed like
Warding Fetish, hopefully we getting something besides that in 0.5 - Base duration of Curses is kinda short, it's enough on boss to always have 4 curses on yourself to get that 120% Damage from
Warding Fetish, but when clearing it will drop down, so you might have to use Prolonged Duration II in
Cast on Critical. That's why Lich is decent option because of
Incessant Cacophony that make your curses infinite. But maybe that 120% Increased Damage isn't that much to bother about it when clearing - Triggering Curses with
Cast on Critical might eat mana, so build might need a bit of mana sustain, or going Blood Mage and taking
Sacrificial Blood and
Blood Transfusion
