Low Budget Equipment Crafting Guide

• Added Martial Weapon Crafting, cheaper and more expensive way

IMPORTANT!

1. First of all this is very basic low budget crafting that can get you really good gear with 1 or few attempts, that usually will cost a lot less than buying something similar to what you crafted!
2. Before crafting anything, check price of finished item to find out if crafting even worth it.

There's different Staff/Wand bases that can roll one type of Increased Damage.

For example: Gelid Staff can only roll %Cold Damage, but not Lightning, Fire, Chaos or Physical, which makes crafting much more likely to hit mods you need.

List of Weapons:

• Cold: Gelid Staff
• Fire: Ashen Staff, Pyrophyte Staff, Volatile Wand
• Lightning: Voltaic Staff, Paralysing Staff, Galvanic Wand
• Chaos: Withered Wand
• Physical: Reaping Staff, Bone Wand
• All other Wand/Staff Bases can roll any Increased Damage mods.

Crafting from Rare Item (Work with any Item Type)

Simply speaking, you search good, but cheap Rare items that have empty Prefix/Suffix to add Abyss mod, slam Exalt or use Perfect Essence, to potentially get good upgrade for cheap, or resell it for profit.

Example:

1. I search Staff like this Trade Link, that has Cast Speed, Crit Chance, and 1 good Prefix.
2. Then i search for Staff that has 1 good Prefix, 2 empty Prefixes, Cast Speed, Crit Chance and any third Suffix.
3. Important that this Staff doesn't have +# to Levels, otherwise next step is impossible.
4. Then i use Perfect Essence of Sorcery which add +5 to all Spell Levels on Suffix. As long as Suffixes are filled, it will remove one of Suffixes. So in this case it's 33% Chance that it remove that 1 random Suffix and keep Cast Speed and Crit Chance.
5. Then use Preserved Jawbone and hope to get good Prefix.
6. Then i slam Greater Exalt (or Perfect Exalt if Item is super good), and pray it's not Mana :D

Wand/Staff Crafting

1. Obtain Magic Rarity Weapon with +4 (Wand) or +5-6 (Staff) Cold/Fire/Lightning/Chaos/Physical Levels, ideally 70+ item level (not Requirement level). Either with no Prefix, or good Prefix like %Extra Damage, %Spell Damage, %Cold/Lightning/Fire/Phys/Chaos Damage.

2. If you have weapon only with +5-6 Levels, using Perfect Aug has high chance to add high tier %Extra Damage, %Spell Damage, %Cold/Lightning/Fire/Phys/Chaos Damage, but also has chance to add flat Mana which is brick.
3. Then depending on what kind of build you have, you can use either Cast Speed Essence or Crit Chance Essence.
   *Using Crit Chance Essence seems slightly better because you more likely to get Cast Speed than Crit Chance from Abyss reveal
4. Now you have 3 Mod Staff, good Prefix, + 5-6 Levels and Crit Chance.
5. Add Desecrated Mod with Omen of Dextral Necromancy to add Suffix, but don't reveal it yet!
6. Gamble part, now you use Greater Exalt(Perfect if rich), with Omen of Greater Exaltation.
   This will slam 2 random Prefixes which has good chance to add 2 good Damage mods, while it has really high chance to add Mana which usually is bad mod.
7. If one of Prefixes you slammed is Mana, on low budget it's usually not worth using Omen of Echoes for Suffix.
8. If both Prefixes you slammed are Damage Prefixes, then it's worth using Omen of Echoes, and even Divine Orb if needed to reroll to +6 Levels(If it's Staff).

Martial Weapon Crafting

More complicating that Caster Weapon crafting, and more Expensive

Cheaper way to craft Phys Damage Weapon

1. Obtain Magic Rarity Weapon with good base for Weapon Type you need, with around 140-150% Phys Damage, as high as you can get, as it's not expensive.
2. Suffix doesn't really matter on Low Budget Crafting, unless you manage to find good base for cheap.
3. Use Greater Essence of Abrasion which add Flat Physical Damage.
4. Desecrate Prefix with Omen of Sinistral Necromancy.
5. Slam 2 Greater Exalts.
6. Reveal Prefix, ideally Hybrid %Phys Damage, or best option out of 3 you get.

More expensive way to craft better Phys Damage Weapon

1. Obtain Magic Rarity Weapon with good base for Weapon Type you need, with around 140-150% Phys Damage, as high as you can get, as it's not expensive.
2. Suffix doesn't really matter.
3. Use Greater Essence of Abrasion which add Flat Physical Damage.
4. Use one of 4 Perfect Essences that grant Extra Damage with Omen of Dextral Crystallisation, this guarantee to add Extra Damage to Prefix and remove that random Suffix you had.
5. Now you have Weapon with 3 Prefixes: %Phys, flat Phys and Extra Damage.
6. Slam any suffix with Greater Exalt, if it happen to be Attack Speed - slam again.
7. Use Perfect Essence of Battle with Omen of Dextral Crystallisation, this will replace Suffix with +3 or +5 to All Attack Skills.
8. Add Desecrated Mod, use Omen of Echoes to have more chance to reveal Attack Speed, if you didn't slam it on Step 6, or Essence removed it on Step 7.
9. Slam Greater Exalt if have Space.
10. End Result: Weapon with %Phys, flat Phys, Extra Damage, +3/+5 Levels and hopefully Attack Speed.

Focus Crafting

First option, should be slightly cheaper, but more RNG (Have to slam 3 Exalts)

1. Obtain Magic Rarity Focus with +2 to All Spells with any Prefix.
2. Use Either Cast Speed or Crit Chance Essence.
3. Use Abyss Essence with Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation, this will replace that random Prefix you had with "Mark of the Abyssal Lord" Modifier. When you going to use Preserved Rib, it will replace that modifier with Unrevealed Desecrated Mod.
4. Use Greater Exalt with Omen of Greater Exaltation, then use another Greater Exalt, there's simply no other way but slamming 3 exalts.
5. Reveal Desecrated Mod, use Omen of Echoes if you got good Focus.

Second option, very similar, but slightly less RNG (Have to slam 2 Exalts)

1. Obtain Focus with +2 to All Spells with any Prefix.
2. Use Either Cast Speed or Crit Chance Essence.
3. Use Perfect Essence of Alacrity with Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation, it will remove that random Prefix you had and add 18-20% Manacost Efficiency.
   *It's not as good as having both Crit Chance and Cast Speed on Suffix which you can't get without some luck, but it's guaranteed that you have 3 good Suffixes.
4. Use Preserved Rib, it add Unrevealed Desecrated Mod on Prefix.
5. Reveal that mod with Omen of Echoes, preferably getting Spell or other type of Damage, or atleast high tier of ES mods if you didn't find good tier Damage mod.
6. Slam Greater Exalt with Omen of Greater Exaltation to add 2 random Prefixes.

Energy Shield Armor

Similarly you can craft Life gear by starting with flat Life Magic Base

Body Armor, Gloves, Helmet

1. Obtain Magic Rarity Armor with high level base (for example best ES body armor is Vile Robe), high tier flat Energy Shield and Resist.
2. Use %ES Essence.
3. Use Preserved Rib with Omen of Sinistral Necromancy to guarantee that it add Desecrated Prefix.
4. Pray to get Hybrid %ES mod, or in case with Body Armor also Spirit.
5. Use Greater Exalt with Omen of Greater Exaltation to slam 2 remaining suffixes, and pay to get Resists :D

Boots

1. Obtain Magic Rarity Boots with good high level base, high tier Movespeed and Resist.
2. Use %ES Essence.
3. Use Preserved Rib with Omen of Sinistral Necromancy which guarantee that it add Desecrated Prefix.
4. Reveal optionally with Omen of Echoes and pray to get flat Energy Shield.
5. Use Greater Exalt with Omen of Greater Exaltation to slam 2 remaining Suffixes and pray to get Resists :D

Ring/Belt

Basic Caster Ring with Mana + Triple Res

1. Either buy Rare Ring with Mana, High Resists and empty Suffix, desecrate Suffix and hope to reveal Resist. Then slam Prefixes to make sure it has 3 Prefixes, and slam Perfect Essence of Mind and hope it not replace Mana.
2. Or start from Magic Rarity Ring with Mana and Resist.
3. Use any of Resist Essences you need.
4. Desecrate Suffix with Omen of Dextral Necromancy and hope to reveal Resist.
5. Slam 2 Prefixes,
6. Use Perfect Essence of Mind with 66% that it doesn't replace flat Mana.
7. Add Mana quality.

Belt can be crafted same way as above, minus part with Mana Essence and quality.

Tenebrous Ring (If you looking for super high Resist Ring)

1. Process is simple but very expensive, get Tenebrous Ring, annul until no mods, or until only good mods remain.
2. Optionally you can buy Tenebrous Ring with 1 high resist and attempt Fracturing it.
3. Lightning Catalysts - slam Greater/Prefect Exalt with Omen of Dextral Exaltation + Omen of Catalysing Exaltation, this increase chances of hitting Lightning Resist
4. Repeat 3rd step for Fire and Cold Resists or whatever you missing.
   For All Elemental Resists Mod any Elemental Catalyst work, either Fire, Cold or Lightning.
5. If you manage to get 4 Resist mods, you add Desecrated Suffix and reveal another Resist mod.
6. Then Repeat 3rd step again for whatever you need on that one Prefix, with Mana, Life or Elemental Catalysts if you looking for %Ele or flat Ele Damage, Mana or Life.
7. If you don't hit Resists, then have to YOLO Annul, unless mod you slammed is decent to sell that ring and start over.
