This build takes advantage of the incredibly strong
Forced Outcome paired with
Cast on Critical linked with
Comet to dish out absolutely insane damage. We use
Spark which procs CoC a ton since it does high damage and shoots a lot of projectiles. In theory though, you can use any spell in the game. In order to deal with the heavy mana cost of a CoC setup, we take a bloodmage-esque approach, converting all of our mana cost to life with the Lifetap support and then sustaining said life with leech via
The Covenant chest piece. We anoint
Fast Metabolism for our leech to feel very comfy, and we grab a
Heart of the Well with 10-15% of leech is instant, so we effectively have infinite life. In order to not constantly kill ourselves, and because mana is no longer how we spend our skills, we take
Mind Over Matter so that mana becomes our defensive layer. We then stack a ton of mana to scale what is effectively our new HP and
Archmage
This build requires a ton of spirit since we need to use
Archmage
Cast on Critical
Mana Remnants and
Siphon Elements.
Siphon Elements is technically optional, the main reason we use it is to generate cold infusions upon freezing enemies while mapping so our
Spark does additional damage. This is only relevant if you're actually freezing via your clear skill, which can easily be done with Embitter. We require a total of 228 spirit, achieved via
Alpha's Howl corrupted with 120 spirit, 4% from
Profane Commander and
Efficient Inscriptions. Make sure you max quality
Archmage and
Cast on Critical as that reduces their spirit cost. You can also get spirit on the amulet and you don't have to get a perfect
Alpha's Howl, but spirit amulets can be expensive. You technically could also get 60 spirit on an amulet and use a
Against the Darkness with 'Notable Passive Skills in Radius Grant +12 Spirit' and find somewhere to put it where you can get 5 Notables in range. This would allow you to get 120 total spirit and then you could use a normal helmet with high mana or
The Vertex (equipment) with +3-4 all skills. This is significantly more expensive to do though.
Ventor's Gamble is also an option to help get a bit of spirit, and rarity, at the cost of mana.
