Build Overview

DISCLAIMER:

From Nothing Diamond allows you to generate 84 Spirit without the use of gear. Currently, this Jewel isn't supported in Mobalytics but I show the Jewel setup in the video.

Falling Thunder has some inconsistent behaviors with Ailith's Chimes, sometimes consuming charges and sometimes not consuming charges. By adding Inhibitor support gem we can prevent Falling Thunder from consuming power charges during mapping and switch to Rakiata's Flow on bosses. The reason we do this is because we use Falling Thunder to produce Power charges for Charge Regulation

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Faster than Deadeye
  • Insane AOE
  • Oneshot T4 Pinnacle
  • Infinite Leech
  • Virtually Immortal
  • FUN
  • really FUN
  • Staggering Palm needs to be activated at the start of each map
  • 1 Gem Swam for Bosses

Build Variants

This variant is on the expensive side, it's supposed to be an endgame monster that pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the game.

Do not worry, I'm working on a budget version of the build as we speak!

Essentia Sanguis Is your tankyness, the item is cheap, and it's worth spending on the 2 sockets.

Ancestral Tiara is a full ES helm that will grant maximum benefit from Subterfuge Mask

Slipstrike Vest is a full EV chest that will grant maximum benefit from Spectral Ward

For boots, I like to have a hybrid, having both crit chance and atk speed is important in this build.

In your amulet, having + Projectile ranks or + Melee ranks is basically the same (all your skills will do projectile damage.) Melee ranks remain slightly better tho.

Unset Ring is the best, but generally any ring is fine as long as you have Life Leech and Mana Leech.

Tempest Flurry needs to be kept at level 5, it is simply used for mobility and not for damage!

The most important thing to remember is that Hollow Palm Technique scales your damage based on the level of the skill gems. Having high skill gems is the same as having a good weapon.

Boss Killer and Power Charge Generator

Falling Thunder is our power charge generator.

Culmination II turns Falling Thunder in a combo skill, Ailith's Chimes spends your combo points to generate Power charges. This is great for bosses as Falling Thunder will get a massive boost from the combo points and the Power charges. Unfortunatelly for mapping this isn't ideal as we really like our Power charges for Charge Regulation.

The fix is simple, I simply place Inhibitor on Falling Thunder and swap to Rakiata's Flow for bosses.

The most important part of the tree is using Against the Darknessin a setup with From Nothing, unfortunately Mobalytics does not support the setup, but I showcased it in the video.

How it Plays

Skills functionality:

VERY important:

Staggering Palm should be the first skill you use upon entering a map, you need to stun an enemy with it to activate your buff, do NOT use Tempest Flurry till you have your Staggering Palm buff up.

What do my skills do?

Tempest Flurry: your mobility skill. Keep it level 5, hold your button down once you have activated your Staggering Palm.

Staggering Palm grants a buff that adds projectiles to any of your attacks, meaning we get the damage from Staggering Palm even while using Tempest Flurry. This skill doubles as a mobility skill and I frequently press the button to jump between packs and as a bonus it will refresh the duration of your Buff.

Falling Thunder is both your Boss killer but also your means of generating Power Charges. By using the support gem Inhibitor we prevent the skill from consuming power charges that are being generated by Ailith's Chimes. Read more about this support gems setup in the gem section!

Charged Staff is very important, it will shock enemies and enable your Heralds to proc. It also provided a nice chunk of extra damage by culling enemies and activating Innervate-

Ancestral Cry makes you faster, do more dmg, look cooler and is just the best feeling button in the game! We generate glory by igniting enemies with our support gems on Staggering Palm.
