Use your favourite features in-game with our Desktop AppPath of Exile 2 0.5 Return of the Ancients features 8 Challenges that players can complete to unlock the Knight of Aldur Armour Set and Challenger Statue. These Challenges can be completed in any order throughout the course of the league and this guide will help to make sure that you get them all
The list of Challenges for 0.5 can be opened by pressing the H key, and specific Challenges can be expanded by clicking on each dropdown to the left of its name
This Challenge simply requires players to engage with the Runes of Aldur league mechanic and find and activate Runic Remnants with an increasingly greater number of Rune combinations. The first few are fairly trivial to find, but Runic Remnants with 6, 7 or more Runes will be found only deeper into Path of Exile 2's endgame
The Hunter Challenge requires players to defeat optional bosses throughout PoE 2's Campaign. All of these Rewards grant powerful Permanent Buffs, so it's best to seek them out! The location of each of these Bosses is below:
Akthi and Anundr is a dual boss fight, so winning this fight will cross the final two of these off your checklist
All that is required to do to complete The Ascendant Challenge is to complete your full Ascendancy with either Trial of the Sekhema's or Trial of Chaos. This can be a big challenge for many players, but making sure to acquire all of your Ascendancy Points is a huge boost to player power

The Reliquarian Challenge requires players to Identify 50 Unique items, which can be done by simply playing enough. However, if you're struggling to find additional Unique items to identify, you can always head over to the Trade Site by pushing / , then set Item Rarity to "Unique" and in Miscellaneous, set Identified to "No"
The Artisan Challenge is more complex than the previous few and players will need to apply each of the above Alloys onto any piece of gear. These items can be found by farming the new Runes of Aldur mechanic, but can also be purchaes on the Currency Exchange from other players. Use of these Alloys doesn't need to be part of some large Crafting project and can simply be used on random Rare items that you may find.
The Cartographer is one of the toughest Challenges this league that requires players to fully allocate each point on the new Atlas Passive Tree. This can be done by completing Maps within the Fortress area of PoE 2's Endgame, or by defeating the Arbiter of Divinity repeatedly to garner a large number of Passives more rapidly.
