Initiating the Encounter

Zarokh is the final boss of the Trial of Sekhemas, on the 4th trial. Unlike with the Trialmaster, you do not need any additional items to commence this fight.

This guide is written by RDom.

Recommendations

The most dangerous part of this fight is managing your Honour. The damage probably won’t kill you, but getting hit by many projectiles or mechanics with long durations will quickly drain your Honour bar and end the fight.

Make sure you are comfortable dodging the attacks, as it is better to take longer beating this boss than risk getting hit.

Mechanics

Projectile Orbs

Zarokh fires slow moving projectiles in front of him.

Large Orb

Zarokh fires a slow moving large orb with an area that causes slow.

Portals

Zarokh creates 8 portals that periodically fire slow moving orb projectiles.

Hourglass

A lit area appears in the center of the battlefield, going onto it causes the mechanic to start.

A clock appears in the middle of the battlefield and several hourglasses spawn. Once the timer commences, you have until a full rotation to collect all the hourglasses. You will be slowed during this mechanic, collecting an hourglass reduces the effect. Failing to collect the hourglasses in time causes a wipe.

Lightning Channel

Zarokh teleports to the center of the battlefield, spawns traps throughout the battlefield, then channels a lightning cone attack in front of him. Zarokh will continuously rotate anti-clockwise, changing the direction of the channeled attack as he rotates.

Be careful rolling, as seen in the video a properly timed roll won’t make you lose honour, but an improperly timed roll may cause you to lose significant honour. The closer you are to the boss the easier it is to dodge the lightning attack, but this is also dependent on the position of the traps.

Traps

Zarokh spawns traps throughout the battlefield, freezing the player if caught.

Pillars

Zarokh spawns pillars that move around the battlefield. Colliding with a pillar whilst rolling doesn’t reduce your honor - as shown in the clip.

Mirage

Zarokh spawns a clock and creates mirages of your positions. After the timer on the clock expires, you are teleported back to your first mirage and the area explodes.

Drops

Zarokh will always drop a Unique Relic. Using said relic will allow you to receive another reward by successfully completing a Sekhemas run with it.

  • The Burden of Leadership → Sekhema's Resolve
  • The Desperate Alliance → Against the Darkness
  • The Remembered Tales → Blessed Bonds
