Requires a Crit bow, crit quiver and a good ES helmet. Not worth swapping to if you don't have crit.
Do not swap without currency, this variant is not cheap because of the weapon/quiver requirement
I do not recommend to swap to crit if you don't have a Good crit bow.

Make sure to fill out your resist, you want 75% fire/cold/lightning resist. Chaos resist is good, but not mandatory to have 75%, I usually aim for 30-50%.
rings/gloves: try to focus on high flat damage, because we have generic pen/exposure, you can get any flat damage (lightning, fire or cold, phys is also fine)
amulet: You'll need 30 spirit total if you want to use
Rhoa Mount, %max es is also really strong here.
(If you have a 50 spirit amulet you can also fit in
Wind Dancer)
Quiver: Just good dps stats, high flat/bow dmg or projectile speed with crit chance/crit damage
chest: you want the highest evasion chest you can afford, preferable with deflection.
Bow: Either a very high DPS gemini bow with tier 3 crit or better (3.1%-5%) or craft the bow I have listed on the character (follow my crafting guide).
Rarity: still really good in 0.3, I would try to hit at least 100% if you want to farm efficiently.
Important: You really want a high a energy shield helmet for
Subterfuge Mask and a high evasion body armour for
Spectral Ward.
Jewels on tree: Just looking for generic damage: attack damage, elemental damage, movement speed, bonus from quivers, projectile damage, attack speed, etc
Double crit jewels are really potent here (critical hit chance and critical hit damage)
Boots: Aim for 30% MS with deflection on suffix, life or hybrid es/evasion are both good prefixes.
Attributes: You'll most likely need str on belt and high dex or int on one pieces (you only need 163 dex, after that you should allocate all of your small attribute nodes to intelligence for requirements and than strength).
important:
You'll want 1 sapphire jewel with mana on kill to sustain mana during mapping.
If you want to completely solve mana, you can take
Walker of the Wilds and get mana leech on ring or gloves.

The links are in prio, so takeout the the last gem if you don't have a 6l in that slow.
Quality prio: lightning rods > herald of thunder > lightning arrow > frost bomb > ghost dance
(If you have a 50 spirit amulet you can also fit in
Wind Dancer)
Just set your
Lightning Rod to weapon set 2 and place your bow/quiver in your 2nd weapon set, this will give you a no hassle experience with Rigwald's Ferocity.
For mapping you're just using
Lightning Arrow, for map bosses you shoot down at least 8
Lightning Rod, press
Tornado Shot one and spam
Lightning Arrow.

if you have the currency, you can slot in an
Against the Darkness next to the big crit wheel by
Heartstopping. (Want as extra lightning damage)
The new unique jewel "heart of the well" You're looking for damage as extra lightning and any other good mod (double as extra is deal)

How it Plays
Mapping gameplay/Rotation:
Only press
Lightning Arrow, if your damage is weak than you might need to press
Lightning Rod on tanky rares. For map bosses you'll also use
Tornado Shot on
Lightning Arrow
How it Works
Quest rewards to take:
1) charm recharge - act 2
2) stun threshold from venom reward - act 3
3) tattoos - lightning resist/int/fire resist - act 4
4) boon - movement speed - interlude
Deadeye Ascendancy points:
In order: Gathering winds > Point blank > Endless munitions > Mirage Archer
Gear Progression:
1) Fully setup non-crit setup, I would prio a headhunter before swapping to crit
(have heart of the well, cheap for a lot of extra damage/3 prop jewels).
2) Focus on a really good Crit bow And crit quiver before swapping to crit
3) Big evasion or ES/Evasion chest is massive for defense
4) Aim for a 450~ ES helmet when swapping to hybrid
5) After that I would focus on Solid boots/gloves/rings/amulet (+2 proj/spirit)
6) Get against the darkness with as extra lightning (eventually double as extra).
7) From here you can either go for the 50% MS boots or more damage (
From Nothing)
8) Attack speed gloves are really solid for the price as well, would get these after the boots.
Low priority (too expensive to justify the power they give at the moment, buy if you have currency).
