Build Overview

Righteous Fire is now in PoE2!

Using the extremely high health Bogfelled Commoner (must be spawned from Boss in first Act 3 zone. It is the Bogfeleld Commoner WITHOUT a weapon in hand), we scale the Infernal Legion III support with both minion health and damage, while using weapon swap to constantly full heal our minion army!

Armour is used to great effect to mitigate all hits, and since we use many Int gems, we also utilize this large mana pool to buffer our health against one shots!

0.4 pushes minion passives further away from the Warrior starting point. This makes early leveling much more difficult if you intend to play minions, so don't. You may need quite a few levels before this build will be fully online on Titan, but its endgame performance is actually buffed from 0.3!

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • VERY tanky without Energy Shield
  • Good damage and speed
  • Run through maps while taking almost no damage
  • Utilizes many unique mechanics
  • Sprint as much as you want!
  • Must level using a different build. Warrior cannot effectively use minions early on
  • Requires constant weapon swapping (niche playstyle)

You only need one Sceptre/Shield setup, as you can use the same ones by locking the weapon set. You do not need a second Sceptre or Shield to weapon swap anymore.

The Sceptre MUST be a resist aura, ideally Purity of Fire. This is because Spirit based supports are free in these Sceptres, and we have a very low Spirit pool.

You must not have any Energy Shield on your gear for Reinforced Barrier to be effective.

+ to Minion Skills is the most important modifier.

Mana rolls on gear are as important as Life. We are using Mind Over Matter to increase our ability to tank large hits, as armor will only really prevent small and medium hits. % Max mana on ring prefix is from Perfect Mana Essence.

Suffixes are not filled in. Use suffixes on gear to max out your resistances. Being a few % away from cap on elemental resistances is ok as armor will mitigate most of this damage. Chaos Resistance is very important.

You want TWO Sapphire Jewels with the modifier Recover 2% of Maximum Mana On Kill (along with Minion Damage ideally). This is very important as it does work from minion kills and will always keep your mana at maximum while mapping, allowing you to take full advantage of Mind Over Matter's large health pool against big hits.

Feeding Frenzy on main Spectres is not required. Use Fire Exposure to boost clear speed instead for most content. Use Magnified effect instead of Overreach if you are lacking attributes.

The Spectre gem is on there twice because you need two separate gems. For your minions to heal, they must not be the same ones used in each weapon set.

"For anyone who cant seem to equip 2 of the same Spectre gems at the same time:
You can only do it one by one. The trick is getting one Spectre, equipping it, then catching the other one while the first one is already equipped.

Method:
1. Catch one bogfelled commoner and equip it.
2. Get a "bind spectre" gem and catch another "bogfelled commoner" while the first one is in equipped.
3. Now you have 2 of them equipped at the same time.
3. After that try not to unequip either of the gems.

The game won't let you equip two of the same spectres gems otherwise."

Use Last Gasp and Meat Shield on Clerics until you get Brutus' Brain gem.

If any of your minions die, you will not get any to pop out when you weapon swap. You must weapon swap regularly to prevent any minion from dying. This is why Last Gasp is on every minion, if it dies, you still have a few seconds to swap.

Weapon set 1 (main)
- 1 Sniper
- 1 Storm Mage
- 1 Cleric (2 if you do not have Brutus' Brain)
- as many Bogfelled Commoner as Spirit allows

Weapon set 2 (secondary, not used as much during combat)
- 1 Cleric (ZERO if you do not have Brutus' Brain)
- as many Bogfelled Commoner as Spirit allows (MUST be from the second Spectre gem so each set heals on the weapon swap)
Alternatively use no minions in weapon set 2 and double tap your weapon swap to be only in set 1

How it Plays

Sprint through maps and have your burning minions zip around to clear. If you get stunned while Sprinting, you can weapon swap while stunned to burn all enemies that jump on you
