MonkFor leveling ANY build CHECK VENDORS VERY FREQUENTLY ITS INSANELY IMPORTANT FOR GETTING UPGRADES.
Monk on a fresh start as a melee based evasion character can feel quite squishy so make sure to be upgrading your non weapon items relatively often to stay on top of things.

Until you get a level 3 skill gem, you will use autoattack + 
Frost Bomb + 
Contagion in order to do the first few zones.
If you want to level with staves still(LMAO) then you'll be using autoattack + 
Glacial Cascade + 
Tempest Bell until you get 
Ice Strike.
Gear to look for on vendor in act one town:
Try to find a spear with attack speed to swap to at level 3 but any spear will work.
Support Gem Requirements:
Str 0
Dex 0
Int 0
Quarterstaff Strike
Frost Bomb
Contagion
I prefer'd to save the support gems for rake and just use no support frost bomb + autoattack until lvl 3 gem from after rust king.
You'll need some int for your gems so pay attention to that. 5 str for support gem but generally dex/int.
We take strength attributes where we can for more Stomping Ground damage.
