Huntress is the new class for 0.2 PoE 2 and is a bit tricky to level. Below you will find variants for leveling based on my progression through the acts, refer to the variant that is for the part of the campaign you're in.

Spear Stab is going to be our single target king here with
Rake + Stomping Ground carrying our AoE clear
Equipment
Look for good damage prefixes on the spear and life/resists on the rest of the gear. Strength or Dexterity is a great pickup because we are going to be abusing Strength for Stomping Ground.
Once you unlock
Dance with Death you can drop the buckler to give yourself more attack speed. Note that I recommend putting the buckler back on for bosses because you can parry some attacks.
Skill Gems
Support Gem Requirements:
Str 15
Dex 5
Int 0
Parry
Spear Stab
Disengage
Rake
Blood Hunt
Herald of Blood
Shield Charge
Storm Lance

Early Game Huntress is rather weak; however, the support gem Stomping Ground is rather strong. What this does is burst damage out around you every time the supported Travel skill takes a step. We start off with
Disengage which back flips you and takes 2 steps. We can effectively turn this into a damage skill by flipping through enemies with this support. Eventually you will unlock
Rake which is a lot easier to control and does not have a cooldown. It is important to focus most of your stats into Strength (to scales Stomping Ground damage) and get just enough Dexterity to be able to use your weapon.
Spear Stab is sadly one of our best options for single target dps at this point.
Whirling Slash does not do a lot of damage however you can use it a bunch and then unleash
Twister, I'd mostly recommend a hit and run playstyle until you unlock Stomping Ground.
Shield Charge is great for moving so you can add a shield to your secondary weapon set.
Storm Lance helps triggers passives that need us to do projectile damage.
Act 2 Boss
I noticed that for his normal attacks I was able to parry them ONLY when I activated parry right before he was about to hit me, Dark Souls Style. Normally Parry is a holding skill but for some reason I had to snap activate it for the boss. Both the Act 1 and 2 bosses were rather hard with
Spear Stab but we got it done.
