Build Variants
This is the version I used in the video and gameplay.
Equipment

Solving Spirit:
I use a helmet with +21 spirit via corruption, a 134
Sacred Flame and Dialla's Desire socketed in my companion skill to be able to use all my skills. This is not needed however, because you could also:
1. Socket quality gems in your body armour - this reduces the companion cost.
2. Use a boar instead of frozen mandible - less spirit cost and a great option instead of frozen mandible.
3. Don't use
Herald of Ice - it's a bit overkill, we already have insane AOE.
Jewels:
You need a
Heroic Tragedy jewel with the line "yada yada VORANA". The vorana here is important. Trade link: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Rise%20of%20the%20Abyssal/9lj7o8KTK
For your rare jewels, get double attack speed then focus on finding companion damage and attack damage - as these scale the highest, and are useful for all of your skills attack skills.
Other decent options are projectile damage and projectile damage after using melee skills.
Try to get some cold & lightning damage on your rings. This will ensure you shock enemies for herald of thunder, and then freeze enemies with the herald of thunder - triggering frost nexus and chilled ground.
Skill Gems
Support Gem Requirements:
Str 30
Dex 75
Int 65
Purity of Fire
Companion: {0}
Wind Dancer
Herald of Ice
Cast on Critical
Charge Regulation
Barrage
Whirling Slash
Twister
Herald of Thunder

You can use either Nova Projectiles or Salvo in your
Twister - try out both, see which version you prefer. Nova Projectiles is more reliable, but Salvo deals more damage.
Weapon Sets:
Companion: {0}, use in weapon set 1 & 2. I'm using Frozen Mandible with haste aura.
Wind Dancer - Set 1.
Herald of Ice - Set 2. You can skip this skill if you don't have enough spirit.
Herald of Thunder - Set 2.
Cast on Critical - Set 2.
Charge Regulation - Set 1 & Set 2.
Whirling Slash - Set 1.
Twister - Set 2.
Passive Tree
If you want more tankiness - ditch some damage/attack speed nodes for energy shield nodes.
If you want more speed - ditch damage/tankiness for more attack speed.
If you want more damage - ditch defence.
It doesn't matter really, use your brain and grab what you need.
How it Plays
Rotation:
1. Use
Whirling Slash at least 3x times
2. Use
Barrage
3. Use
Twister
4. Repeat.
If
Barrage is on cooldown, then you can just use
Twister without it - I'll allow it.
How it Works
Main Interactions:
1. A Gazillion Twisters:
This build is twisting tiddies like there's no tomorrow.
Using the deadeye ascendency, we're able to stack frenzy charges easily. Not only that, but we can also double their effect via
Thrilling Chase. When you combine this with
Barrage that repeats your
Twister + 2 times and then once for every frenzy charge, you're able to repeat them for a total of 16 times.
When this is combined with Salvo or Nova Projectiles (choose your own preference), then you're able to bust out hundreds of twisters per cast - covering the entire screen, and nuking your graphics card.
2. Strength Stacking:
We're stacking as much strength as possible in this build. This is due to
Irongrasp granting us extra damage for our projectiles per strength we have.
This does however come with a downside - we no longer gain max life from strength. To offset this, we grab a
Heroic Tragedy jewel that instead transforms it into energy shield.
How
Twister works:
This skill eats whirlwinds from
Whirling Slash to deal extra damage, and ground effects such as Ignited, Chilled and Shocked Ground. In our build, we're using Chilled Ground - which we trigger via Frost Nexus every time our
Herald of Thunder freezes enemies.
To be able to freeze enemies, we therefore stack cold damage in our
Herald of Thunder by transforming all gained damage to cold damage, and pray that it freezes. You won't freeze every enemy doing this - but you'll leave behind enough Chilled Ground for your twisters to eat them up and deal some actual damage.
