Cube Synthesis Guide: Task Bar Hero (TBH)

In Task Bar Hero, the Cube is your all-in-one resource for crafting and enhancing your gear. There are multiple ways to use it, and each one has its own cost and benefits.

Synthesis is one of the first two types of Cube crafting and is available right from the start. It'll be a key part of your progression, but be sure to check out our essential tips and tricks before you start spending your resources!

Synthesis takes nine items of the same grade (Common, Uncommon, Rare, etc.) and combines them into a higher tier item. Each item used in the Synthesis must be from the same category.

These are the different categories of items.

• All Weapons and Armor (Helmet, Chest, Gloves, Boots)
• Crafting Materials (Wood, Stone, Leather etc.)
• Accessories (Amulet, Earring, Ring, Bracer)

After selecting and combining your nine items, the game will randomly roll a new item from the same category. At a minimum it'll jump at least one grade, but if you're really lucky, it may become even higher!

Example:

You combine an assortment of nine Common (White) Weapons and Armor. After Synthesizing, you get an Uncommon (Green) Bow. Although, there was a small chance it could've been Rare (Blue) instead.

In the beginning you'll be restricted to creating items between level 1-10, but this will gradually increase as you progress the Cube (keep using it to gain XP and level it up).

• Avoid Synthesizing too much at the very beginning, as you'll get more value by simply filling empty gear slots than seeking stronger items.
  
• If you really want to maximize your inputs, consider hoarding your items until you unlock some Cube EXP Runes (on the West and Northwest side).
