Offering is a very simple mechanic where you exchange "commemorative coins" for random items. It's a standalone feature compared to the rest, and unlocks at Cube level 20.
You can find commemorative coins such as the Kingdom 1st Anniversary Coin as a random drop from chests. So truth be told, it's essentially just a more convoluted way of obtaining gear.
Not a whole lot else to it. Simply pop it in the Cube and wish for the best!
