Best Lumbering Pals in Palworld 1.0

For the operation of any machines/structures needing Lumbering in Palworld, you'll need the help of a Pal that has Lumbering as one of their traits. Here is an overview of the best Pals for this job.

Each Work Suitability has an associated Handbook that can be given to a Pal to increase the relevant stat. Lumbering's Handbook, called Applied Lumbering Handbook, means that any Pal in the game can achieve Lumbering Level 10.

Unfortunately, these books are incredibly rare. They are primarily found:

• Purchasable from Medal Merchants for 300 Dog Coins
• Found in Treasure Chests
• Obtained in Supply Drops
• Found from Meteorite events

Once you have a setup capable of being utilized by your Lumbering focused Pals, here is a list of the structures that will make use of the trait:

Celesdir Noct/Celesdir

Starting off big, Celesdir Noct comes in at a base stat of 8 Lumbering, which is the highest stat in the game. If you can't quite get ahold of this Pal, it should be noted that Celesdir supplies you with 7 Lumbering. It's slightly below, but still worth targeting.

Both can achieve max Lumbering level 10 through the Pal Condenser, at rank 3 and 4 respectively.

Celesdir Noct can be found on the left-most side of the World Tree.

Silvegis

At a base 6 Lumbering, Silvegis starts a little low but can quickly grow through starring up. Due to having no other Work Suitabilities, this Pal will reach level 10 Lumbering at rank 4.

Honourable Mentions

• Hartalis has a higher base Lumbering than Silvegis at level 7, but cannot achieve max rank through the Pal Condenser. It is also much harder to obtain, though well worth it as a premium Gathering Pal and also the best ground mount in the game.
• Dinossom - decent early game option.

All traits have the ability to have their points boosted globally by +1 by having a specific Pal present at your base. This ability does not stack. In the case of Lumbering, the Pal you will need present at your base is Eikthyrdeer Terra
