Best Planting Base Pals in Palworld 1.0

For the operation of any machines or structures needing seed sewing in Palworld, you'll need the help of a Pal with high Planting Work Suitability. Here is an overview of the best Pals for this job.

Each Work Suitability has an associated Handbook that can be given to a Pal to increase the relevant stat. Planting's Handbook, called Applied Planting Handbook, means that any Pal in the game can achieve Planting Level 10.

Unfortunately, these books are incredibly rare. They are primarily found:

• Purchasable from Medal Merchants for 300 Dog Coins
• Found in Treasure Boxes

Once you have a setup capable of powering your Kindling focused structures, here is a list of those that will make use of your traits:

Dandilord

The best Planting Pal is Dandilord, starting off at a base Planting level of 8. This is one of the most useful Pals to have in your base due to its wide array of Work Suitabilities, notably high Handiwork, Gathering, and Medicine Production.

By using the Pal Condenser, Dandilord can obtain Planting level 10 at rank 4.

Dandilord spawns in the Rotmist section of the World Tree.

Ophydia

When you embark on your journey to Sunreach, keep an eye out for Ophydia! This Pal is the next step down from the previously mentioned Dandilord, coming in at a base Planting level of 7. Helpfully, Ophydia also has an impressive Watering skill which pairs incredibly well with Planting.

Obtaining rank 4 at the Pal Condenser allows Ophydia to max out Planting.

Lyleen

Lastly, a more accessible choice is Lyleen, who when encountered for the first time at around Level 58, still boasts the same base Planting level of 7 like Ophydia. This makes it a great choice to go after just as you begin to exit mid-game, but Lyleen cannot reach level 10 Planting by using the Pal Condenser. Its other numerous useful traits still make it a great choice however.

Lyleen can be found at the North East point of the Sakurajima region.

All traits have the ability to have their points boosted globally by +1 by having a specific Pal present at your base. This ability does not stack. In the case of Planting, the Pal you will need present at your base is Petallia

Petallia can be found in the middle region of the main map, surrounding the coordinates of (-12, -85)
