Best Kindling Base Pals in Palworld 1.0

For the operation of any machines/structures utilizing fire in Palworld, you'll need the help of a Pal that has Kindling as one of their Work Suitability traits. Here is an overview of the best Pals for the job!

Below is a list of all structures that will benefit from your Kindling focused Pals:

Each Work Suitability has an associated Handbook that can be given to a Pal to increase the relevant stat. Kindling's Handbook, called Applied Kindling Handbook, means that any Pal in the game can achieve Kindling Level 10.

Unfortunately, these books are incredibly rare. They are primarily found:

• Purchasable from Medal Merchants for 300 Dog Coins
• Found in Treasure Boxes

Renjishi

The best choice for Kindling is Renjishi, having the highest base Kindling level of 8, making it the best in slot choice for this task.

Renjishi can be upgraded at the Pal Condenser to reach Kindling level 10 once it is at 4 Stars.

Renjishi spawns as a Field Alpha Boss in the World Tree, east of the Corroded Hollow.

Jormuntide Ignis

An easier option and just as good is Jormuntide Ignis which starts at a base 7 Kindling, lacking just behind Renjishi. It can also be upgraded to level 10 Kindling at the Pal Condenser, and, unlike Renjishi, can be obtained at only 3 Stars.

Jormuntide Ignis can be found north-west part of the Ruined Fortress section on the map.

Dupin

Dupin is also a solid choice for the task, and can also be found fairly early into mid-game. It is a great all-rounder boasting strong Handiwork and Medicine Production, though this spread in traits comes at a cost of not being able to max our Kindling purely through the Pal Condenser, instead needing a Handbook to reach max level.

Flaracle

Lastly, we'll highlight Flaracle, another great Kindling option with similarly high Handiwork. Flaracle like Dupin unfortunately cannot obtain 10 Kindling by itself at the Pal Condenser.

Flaracle can be found on the South-East of the floating islands.

All traits have the ability to have their points boosted globally by +1 by having a specific Pal present at your base. This ability does not stack. In the case of Kindling, the Pal you will need present at your base is Katress Ignis

Katniss Ignis Location

Katniss can be found inside of the Cherry Blossom Cave in the Sakurajima Region. You can hatch her from an egg.
