Best Watering Base Pals in Palworld 1.0

For the operation of any machines/structures utilizing Water in Palworld, you'll need the help of a Pal that has Watering as one of their traits. Here is an overview of the best Pals for this job.

Each Work Suitability has an associated Handbook that can be given to a Pal to increase the relevant stat. Watering's Handbook, called Applied Watering Handbook, means that any Pal in the game can achieve Watering Level 10.

Unfortunately, these books are incredibly rare. They are primarily found:

• Purchasable from Medal Merchants for 300 Dog Coins
• Found in Treasure Boxes

Once you have a setup capable of powering your Kindling focused structures, here is a list of those that will make use of your traits:

Shaolong

Shaolong starts off at a base Watering level of 8 - the highest base level - making it a great choice for this task. This late game Pal also doubles as an effective flying mount, though not as fast and the likes of Eidrolon and Jetragon.

Shaolong can reach Level 10 Watering via the Pal Condenser at rank 3.

Shaolong spawns in the World Tree.

Jormuntide

You can grab Jormuntide earlier at around level 55, making it a good option for those earlier in the game. It has a base Watering Level of 7, upgradable to 10 via the Pal Condenser at rank 3.

Neptilius

Neptilius is fought in the Isle of the Glacial Core dungeon at level 60. Aside from its Watering skill of 7, it doubles up as an effective combat Pal.

At the Pal Condenser, Neptilius can achieve max Water at rank 3.

Neptilius can be found at the Glacial Core Dungeon in the top right of the map.

All traits have the ability to have their points boosted globally by +1 by having a specific Pal present at your base. This ability does not stack. In the case of Watering, the Pal you will need present at your base is Amione

Amione can be found in the bottom right portion of the Skyreach region on the map.
